The Temple of Heaven is a historic site located in Beijing,
China, at which the emperorused to conduct religious ceremonies.
Its grounds cover approximately 2,730,000 squaremeters, and in the
center of them stands a structure used to call for abundant
crops,known as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The hall is
really an altar, and is biggerthan any other altar in current
existence in China. It has a diameter of 32 m and is 38 mhigh. The
wooden pillars feature brightly colored carvings of phoenixes and
dragons, theentire structure features gold plating, and the
three-tiered roof is tiled in lapis lazuli, its bluecolor
representing the heavens. In 1998 the Temple of Heaven's
preciousness wasofficially recognized with its listing as a UNESCO
World Heritage Site. This paper craft isbased on the Temple of

Write down the number on the back of each part as you cut them
out.Since many of the parts are complicated and very small, do a
trial assembly before actuallyattaching them together.The finished
piece will look more realistic if you paint the edges of the parts
with colors similarto the parts.

so be sure to keep themout of the reach of youngchildren.

Before gluing, crease the paperalong mountain fold andvalley
fold lines and make surerounded sections are nice andstiff.
