HOW TO TRIM & SCULPT YOUR FACE

USING MAKEUP.

STEPS TO FINDING THE RIGHT FOUNDATION COLOR.

Finding your correct undertones , Yellow or Red?

1.  Do you Burn or Tan in the sun?

If you burn, you have pink or red undertones.  If you tan, you have yellow undertones.

2.  Do you have more blue or green veins on your inner wrist?

Turn your wrist upwards and take a close look.  If you have blue veins, your skin has more pink undertones, and a cool skin tone.  If you green or teal colored veins, then your skin has yellow undertones, warm skin tone.

3.  What is the underlying color cast of your skin?

Do you have a pink or yellow cast to your skin?  Looking on your inner arm or the side of your face is easiest.  Find the color that naturally comes through this part of the skin – pink or yellow.

The Foundation is Key

1. YOUR BASE FOUNDATION SHOULD HAVE THE SAME UNDERTONE OF YOUR SKIN

2. YOU HAVE SELECTED THE PROPER FOUNDATION BASE COLOR, WHEN YOU PUT IT ON YOUR CHIN BONE AND YOU CAN’T TELL THE DEFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR SKIN AND THE MAKEUP

3. YOU SHOULD HAVE A HIGHLIGHT COLOR WHICH IS TWO TO THREE SHADES LIGHTER THAN YOUR SKIN WITH THE SAME UNDERTONE OF YOUR SKIN.

4. YOU SHOULD HAVE A CONTOUR COLOR WHICH IS TWO SHADES DARKER THAN YOUR SKIN WITH THE SAME UNDERTONE AS YOUR SKIN.

5. YOU CAN USE CREAMS, POWDERS, OR LIQUIDS, BUT YOU CANNOT MIX THEM. I RECOMMEND POWDERS FOR OILY SKIN (CRÈAM TO POWDER ALSO), CREMES FOR DRY SKIN, AND LIQUID FOR ALL TYPES OF SKIN.

Sculpt And Trim your face

BY USING MAKEUP TO HIGHLIGHT AND CONTOUR

Using Foundations to Contour & Highlight

1. First Apply your base foundation evenly to your entire face including your eyelids, lips and neck.

2. Your highlight is the foundation that is lighter than the base foundation and is used to bring an area out.

3. The contour is the foundation that is darker than you foundation and is used to make an area recede or come in.

4. The diagram to the right shows you where to apply your contour & highlight.

If you notice the picture to the right, the highlight goes under the eye area on the center of the forehead and down the front of the nose to bring these areas out giving the cheek bones a higher look and the eyes a little lift and also giving them the appearance of being bigger.

The contour goes below the cheekboneIn the crease of the eye , down the sides Of the nose and the sides of the foreheadAnd along the cheek bones. This slims the Nose, the cheeks the forehead eyes and Jawline, giving the face a more chiseled Look.

Finishing the look

TO FINISH THE LOOK, I LIKE TO USE LOOSE FACEPOWDER THE SAME COLOR AS THE BASE FOUNDATION AND DUST IT ALL OVER THE FACE TO SEEMLESSLY BLEND THE HIGHLIGHTING AND CONTOURING AREAS TOGETHER. YOU CAN ALSO USE A BROZER INSTEAD OF THE LOOSE POWDER TO GIVE THE FACE A NICE GLOW. REMEMBER YOU ONLY WANT A LIGHT DUSTING OF BRONZER, OTHER WISE, IF YOU USE TOO MUCH IT GIVES AN ORANGE OR RED HUE TO THE SKIN.

FOR EVERYDAY MAKEUP THE KEY IS LESS IS MORE. YOU ONLY WANT TO LAYER UP FOR PHOTOS AND I RECOMMEND USING A MAKEUP ARTIST FOR PHOTO SHOOTS TO GET THE PROPER ACMOUNT OF MAKEUP UNDER THE PORFESSIONAL LIGHTING.
