At our facility in Worthington Ohio, tecsis LP designs and manufactures some of the finest force sensors, load cells, and pressure transducers available anywhere. Offering load ranges from 50 grams to 2.5 million pounds, pressure ranges from 0.5 psi to 100,000 psi, and unamplified or amplified output, we are ready to build a transducer just for you.

We employ proven strain gage technology and state-of-the art electronics to produce high accuracy industrial sensors that deliver rock-solid performance in any application and in any environment. What’s more, our engineering team will focus on your unique needs and specs to create the ideal sensor for your project.

2) a serial number for the defective product

3) a technical description of the defect

Repaired or replaced items will be shipped F.O.B. our plant in Worthington, Ohio.

Strain gauges use the principle of the piezo resistance effect as

well as the Thomson effect: Upsetting reduces and elongation

increases the electrical resistance. A resistance wire – mostly

made of Constantan® – is laminated to a foil strip. This foil strain

gauge is glued to the actual deformation body, into which the

force is transmitted. Cross-circuits of strain gauges (Wheatstone

bridge) optimize the signal output and measurement accuracy.

Strain gauge technology offers a wide geometric variability,

high accuracy and is well suited for recording even the smallest

forces. The available measuring ranges extend from 10 N to more

than 5,000 kN.

Thin-film sensors are the first choice when complex requirements

have to be fulfilled. Instead of an adhesive bonding, the Wheatstone

bridge is atomically joined by a sputter process to the sensor body.

The thin-film sensor can be placed in the ideal position within a

force flow even with minimum installation space. It is joined by a

laser welding process in a force-actuated and positive-interlocked

manner with the deformation body. This technology is cost-effec-

tive and precise owing to the automated production, con sistently

high quality, very high long-time stability, no creep characteristic,

and inte grat ed amplifier. Very economical in cases of special

designs and in OEM applications.
