Product DescriptionZwaluw Hybriseal® 2PS is a high quality, professional and universalpaintable sealant based on hybrid technology which cures underinfluence of humidity to form a durable elastic rubber.

ApplicationsZwaluw Hybriseal® 2PS is specially developed as universal glazingsealant complying with NEN 3576 / NPR 3577 for laminated, single,insulation, burglar-proof and self-cleaning glass# . Sealing expansionand connection joints. Sealing perimeter joints around window and doorframes.#RemarkCompatibility with sealed edges of insulation glass cannot beguaranteed, as the compositions on sealant for the edges of insulatingglass can be different or changed by the producer of insulated glass.Advices concerning the compatibility of glazing sealants to the sealededge of double glazing are based on experience and therefore notguaranteed.

Joint DesignsA well designed joint should have sufficient width to be able to take andabsorb the movement of the adjacent building elements. The joint depthshould always be in the correct relationship to the joint width. A generalrule is the ratio of joint depth to the width of the joint with a joint width upto 10 mm is 1:1, with a minimum of 5 mm in width and depth. For jointswider than 10 mm the joint depth should be half the joint width – with aminimum depth of at least 10mm and a maximum of 15mm. Application temperature +5°C to +40°C (environment and substrate).Surfaces must be dry, clean and solid. Clean surfaces with ZwaluwCleaner. Zwaluw Hybriseal 2PS adheres perfectly without the use of aprimer to most non porous substrates. Porous surfaces to bepre-treated with Zwaluw Primer B1. Always test adhesion prior toapplication. Use Zwaluw Finisher to smooth the joint.

PaintabilityZwaluw Hybriseal® 2PS is perfectly paintable with water based andsynthetic paints. It is recommended to test compatibility with paint priorto application. When Zwaluw Hybriseal® 2PS will be painted over (notnecessary) we recommend to sand the sealant and junction surfaces bymeans of Scotch-Brite. For an optimal result we recommend to paintwithin a few days after application.

CleaningUncured material and tools can be cleaned by using Zwaluw Cleaner.Cured material can only be mechanically removed. Hands can becleaned with Zwaluw Wipes.
