What are other Lunas up to?Sydney Charles is in the hit Smokey Joes Cafe, Kristiana Rae Colón is touring her new book, Promised Instruments, and it’s corresponding Solo Performance piece, Cry Wolf. Amanda de la Guardia is working as aphogotrapher at her company, Citadelphotography.com and will be reprising her role as Little Maria in LIVING LARGE IN A MINI KIND OF WAY which opens at 16th St. Theatre (in assiciation with Teatro Luna) April 2013. Paula Ramirez can be seen in the upcoming premiere of Patria Libre at Prologue Theatre. Melissa DuPrey can be seen around town as a comic in lots of events, and she is also touring her one woman show: SEXOMEDY. Alyssa Vera Ramos is performing with her other company: FYI (For Youth Inquiry), Sindy Castro is working as an educator and teaching artist with a variety of organizations. Alexan-dra Meda is freelance directing and consulting administratively and getting ready for a move to New York in two years for the launch of Teatro Luna NYC. Liza Ann Acosta was recently named Associate Dean at Northpark University and is in the process of revising her script of PUTAS! which was presented as a workshop at Teatro Luna in 2012 and will get a world premiere this fall.

Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel (Mami, Clara, Mercedes, Jane Eyre) is making her Luna debut with Your Problem With Men! She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied theatre,dance and voice in addition to obtaining a BFA from the Universidad del Salvador in 2007. In her home country she acted in several theatre productions where her credits include Guinevere in King Arthur and the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. Since moving to the USA in 2008 she performed in various productions such as West Side Story, White Christmas, Jesus Christ Super-star and Scream Queens. In Chicago she was last seen in i put the fear of mexico in 'em with Teatro Vista. Credits in the city also include "Mazi" in Corazon de Manzana with Mortar Theatre Company and "Cruz" in the series Delusions of Grandeur. She is a recent graduate from the IO theatre Training Center and a current student at Black Box Acting. Cruz wants to thank everyone involved in the production for all their work. ENJOY!

Marvin Quijada (Juan & Papi) Marvin is happy to be working with Teatro Luna again. Previously, Marvin has worked with Chicago Shakespeare, Lookingglass, Silent Theater, Goodman, Silk Road Rising, Steppenwolf, Next, Urban Theater and Teatro Vista, where he is an ensemble member. Marvin is also an ensemble member with Silent Theater and can be seen doing clown work in their monthly variety show "The Wild Party Variety Hour". As an educator, Marvin has assisted in physical theater workshops with Silent Theater all around the country including Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and Iowa. In Chicago, Marvin has worked in high schools all over the city with Chicago Dramatists' Young Playwrights Program. Marvin thanks you for coming out and supporting theater.

Abigail Vega (Asun) is so excited to be performing again with TL! Previous credits include Crossed (Ensemble) and A Very Luna Christmas (Co-writer/Co-director) with Teatro Luna, Audience Annihilated: Women Only Train with Dream Theatre Company,Tinsel the Musical with Lil' Buds, the Women's Theatre Alliance and the International Voices Project. Abigail graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA and is in the Touting Ensemble

and is a new Ensemble Member of Teatro Luna.

Emilio Williams (Playwright) Emiio was born in Madrid, Spain, where he is widely regarded as one of the most promising playwrights of his generation. His work has been produced in Spain, France and the United States. Most recently, his comedy “Medea’s got some issues” was selected Best International Show at United Solo Festival, O! Broadway at Theater Row, New York City. This summer he directed his own play “Smartphones- a pocket size farce” for Trap Door Theatre to critical acclaim. In 2010, his comedy “Tables and Beds, an unromantic comedy” was selected among 80 plays from 12 countries as the winner of the 4th Premio el Espectáculo Teatral.

Williams is the Artistic Director of the new theater troupe The Chicago Theater Sweat-shop. The company is dedicated to producing new, groundbreaking, international comedies in Chicago, while forging creative links with theater artists in our Chicago, New York City, Europe and Latin America.

Alexandra Meda (Producer/Exec Dir) Alex is a producer, artist/activist, and arts management consultant dedicated to serving the American nonpro"t theatre, performance groups, and artists around the country. In addition to serving as the Executive Director of Chicago’s all-Latina theatre company: Teatro Luna, she consults with a variety of Chicago and New York-based organizations through The Artist Initiative, a non-pro"t organization she founded in 2007 that is dedicated to providing strategic planning and administrative consult-ing to npo's wanting to create more opportuni-ties for Leaders of Color. She is a writer and blogger for art, politics, Latino culture and popular culture outlets.

She graduated from DePaul University’s Theatre School with a BFA in Theatre Arts & Non- Pro"t Arts Management with focuses in Dramaturgy and Directing. She received a BA from DePaul University with visiting studies at University of California at Berkeley with a degree in American Studies with concentrations in Race & Gender and Popular Culture.

She is an awardee/member of the Young

Leaders of Color Program with Theatre Communi-cations Group in NYC (the Nationalservice organi-zation for the American Nonpro"t Theatre) and was recently named Inspiring Latina by “Latina Magazine", and one of the top 25 Latino Club Leaders of Chicago 2012 by "Latino Leaders Magazine." She is currently working on launching her website, www.alexandrameda.com Alyssa Vera Ramos (Assistant Director) Alyssa is an actor, director & teaching artist, with a strong focus on devising & ensemble work. Recent acting credits include SIX STORIES TALL (Adventure Stage), GENERATION SEX (Teatro Luna) & A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (Earth Pearl Collective). Directing credits include WOMAN ON FIRE (Teatro Luna), THE LIBERATION OF CARMELA LOPEZ, THE FEM(inist) PIECE (Northwestern U.) & ART HEIST (Abraham Werewolf, AD). Alyssa serves as an Artistic Associate & Touring Ensemble member at Teatro Luna and is a Collective Member of For Youth Inquiry Performing Health Collective (FYI). She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Northwestern University & was recently featured in Latina Magazine as an "Inspiring Young Latina of the Week." Brian Sidney Bembridge (Set & Lighting Design) Brian is considered one of Norht america’s most proli"c scenic and lighiting designers. Based in Chicago for the past 13 years, Brian designs sets and lighting for theaters nationwide in addition to playing an integral role in Chicago’s distinguished theater community. He is a member of Lookingglass Theatre Company and Circle X Theater Co. and an Artistic Associate of Timeline Theatre Company, Teatro Vista, and Uma Productions.

Brian is a native of Londonderry, New Hampshire and received his Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ School of Design and Production. Brian has been pro"led in Live Design, Lighting and Sound America, Entertainment Design Magazine, Lighting Dimensions, PLSN, Stage Directions, American Theater Magazine, Chicago Social and numerous other publications. He was named one of the “most Proli"c Theater Artists of the Decade,” by Time Out Chicago magazine and one of the Top 50 Players in Chicago Theatre by New City Magazine. The Chicago Sun-Times declared him one of “the "nest theatrical architects in Chicago.”

Frank Mares (Projection Design) Frank Mares is a projection designer who has worked with many di!erent theater companies in Chicago. This is his second Teatro Luna show and he couldn't be any more excited about working with the talented and visionary Luna ladies. Frank graduated from DePaul with a computer science degree and uses it to help set the scenes of some of Chicago's "nest theater. Leah Munsey (Costume Design) This is Ms. Munsey's "rst show with Teatro Luna. She is a Chicago based freelance costumer and wig stylist. Most recent design credits include wigs for The Buddy Holly Story, 9 to 5, Damn Yankees, and South Paci"c at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogun-quit, Maine. She currently works as a stitcher for the Goodman Theater in their costume shop. She would like to thank the company for bringing her in on this project.

Patricia Radford (Stage Manager) Patsy is thrilled to continue her work with the ladies of Luna, this is her 4th production with the company with credits of Crossed, Living Large in a Mini Kind of Way, and Solo Tres. Other notable Chicago credits include The Eye Inside with Biophiliac Produc-tions, and The Original Grease with American Theatre Company. Patsy can be seen working the storefront circuit as a stage manager and electri-cian, most notably with the Marry Archie Theatre’s Abbiefest and recently with MPAACT’s Extended Jams assisting Melissa DuPrey’s Sexomedy. Noah Appelbaum (Fight Director) is thrilled to be working on his "rst show with Teatro Luna! Noah is a Chicago-based "ght director and actor. Other recent credits include "ghts and perfor-mances with Redmoon, Collaboraction, and Suitcase Shakespeare. Noah is a member of The Society of American Fight Directors, and a company member of Cor Res Theatre.
