C. Deepen Member Engagement and Expand Membership

• NACCHO added one new SACCHO and now has 29 SACCHO-NACCHO agreements

in 27 states. Outreach efforts will begin in the Spring to engage additional 1-2 new

states in MOUs.

• In areas of member engagement: 73 new members were added to workgroups 825 members participated in the annual meeting 378 participants are now serving in 455 positions on NACCHO’s 42 advisory groups 162 members have or will continue to serve as representatives to a total of 94 outside groups, taskforces or organizations

• Efforts continue to establish baseline data on existing member engagement and

completion of the initial report will be available soon. Baseline member engagement will

identify key patterns and provide other data analysis around levels of LHD involvement

in NACCHO activities. The importance of this initiative is based on the premise that

NACCHO could organize and leverage its growing data to become more informed,

responsive, and strategic about the engagement of LHDs.
