Online applications are invited with effect from 28.05.2017 to 22.08.2017 from IndianNationals having permanent residence in Tripura for selection to the following posts underElementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. 1. Minimum Educational Qualification:

A) Under-Graduate Teacher(for Class I-V) :

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma inElementary Education(or one year diploma in education obtained prior to 2005) (by whatevername known).

ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma inElementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE(RecognitionNorms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year diploma in education obtained prior to2005).

ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor ofElementary Education (B. EI.Ed.).

ORSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education(Special Education).

ORGraduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year diploma in educationobtained prior to 2005)(by whatever name known).

Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging tothe SC/ST/PHcategory.

2. Age: Up to 40 years as on 27.05.2017. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH andGovernment Servant provided that Government Servants belonging to SC/ST/PH category shall notget relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them. Upper age limit is alsorelaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norm.

However, as per direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, dated 29.03.2017 in SLPNo.18993-19049/2014, the candidates who have participated in the selection process pursuant to theadvertisements dated 29.10.2002, 05.04.2006 and 23.09.2009 of Education (School) Department,whether Selected or not will be allowed to participate in the selection process by relaxing their agebut subject to their having necessary qualification. Such candidates have to produce their call lettersissues by the Department when asked by the Board.

3. Pay: A) Under-Graduate Teacher(for Class I-V) :Rs.6,260/- fixed per month (against Payscale Rs.5700-24000/- with grade pay Rs. 2,200/- subject to revision by the government from time to time).

B)Graduate Teacher(for ClassVI-VIII) :Pay: Rs.7,970/- fixed per month (against Payscale Rs.5700-24000/- with grade pay Rs.2,800/- subject to revision by the government from time to time).

4. Procedure for Online Submission of Application:

Online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers'Recruitment Board, Tripura www.trb.tripura.gov.in. Follow the steps below:

a) Log on to TRBT'sofficial website at www.trb.tripura.gov.in.Click on the link "apply online".b) Candidates are to register a fresh and create a profile. After registration they must note

down the registration number. This registration number will be USER NAME for thecandidate.

c) Candidates must give all particulars correctly while registering themselves. Any wrong/falseinformation will lead to rejection/cancellation of candidature at any stage.

d) After registration, first time login can be done by using the date of birth of the candidate aspassword in DD-MM-YYYYformat.

e) Candidates are advised to change password after first time login.f) Candidates are instructed to remember the password correctly and not to disclose it to

anyone.g) Login with the registration number as USERNAME and password as set by you.h) To apply for the post of Under Graduate Teacher (for class I-V) Click on "Selection of Under

Graduate Teachers-Session-2017" and to apply for the post of Graduate Teacher (for class VI-VIII) Click on "Selection of Graduate Teachers(for classV I-VIII) -Session-2017".

i) While applying online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils thenorms of eligibility.

j) Before applying online please ensure to have the following documents/files for uploading:• Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate [Size: Greater than 4 KB less

than 100 KB).• Scanned image ollull signature of candidate (Size:Greater than 4 KB less than 2~

• Images should be in JPEGformat only.• Application Acknowledgement will not be generated if any irrelevancy is noticed in image of

signature and photograph.k) Feesto be remitted only through system generated challan.I) Candidates are instructed to insert working mobile phone number and e-mail address.m) Candidates are instructed to deposit fees in any Branch of SBI (on every working day) after 72

hours (on every working day) from the date of finalisation of her/his online application andmust submit payment details into the link as provided. Candidates can get ApplicationAcknowledgement downloaded after 3 days of providing payment details. Preserve theApplication Acknowledgement for future reference.

n) Candidates are instructed to finalise the process of online submission of application withinstipulated date. If payment is received after stipulated date, Application Acknowledgement/admit card will not be generated.

0) Once the date of finalization is over candidates will not be able to proceed further.

Those who are employed must submit "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) in original issued bythe competent Authority of the Department/ Agency where he/she is currently employed. It will bepresumed that all such candidates applying for the post have obtained NOC from the competentauthority stating that the Department/Agency has no objection if he / she joins the post appliedfor. NOC should be submitted at the time of certificate verification. Candidature of in-servicecandidates will be summarily rejected if they fail to produce NOC during certificate verification.Mere issue of Application Acknowledgement to a candidate will not imply that his/ her candidaturehas been finally cleared by the Board. Candidates must also possess Permanent Resident of TripuraCertificate (PRTC)issued by competent authority.

6. Weightage Pattern: The selection will be done on the basis of weightage to be calculated asindicated in the tables below:

Note: (i) Option of qualification / eligibility criteria selected by candidate at the time of onlineapplication from the dropdown box will be treated as final for calculating the weightage.

(ii) Clarification of Marks for candidate opted Graduation as academic qualification: CandidateHaving Graduation with Honours can calculate percentage of only on the basis of marks obtained inhonours subjects or on the basis of marks obtained taking together the marks of Honours & PassSubjects.

Candidates having higher weightage will be selected for the post. When two or morecandidates obtain same weightage, relative position would be judged in terms of seniority of date ofbirth of the candidates. In case date of birth is same then seniority of the date of obtaining requisiteacademic qualification for appearing in the said examination would be judged. Senior candidate willbe given preference. In final case, if required; the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination(academic) will be taken into consideration and preference will be given whose percentage of marksis higher.

7. Certificate Verification: Candidate who remain absent on the scheduled date of certificateverification, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected. Inviting a candidate for certificateverification will not entitle him/her any right for selection to the post for recruitment. At the timeof certificate verification a candidate must bring original copies of all certificates/ mark sheets ofacademic and professional qualification, T-TETcertificate, PRTC,Admit card of matriculation as proofof age, Caste certificate (if any), PH certificate (if any), Certificate of Ex-Serviceman (if any) andApplication Acknowledgement page of online application along with a set of self attestedphotocopies of all these documents. Candidates are required to produce one photo bearing identitycard in original like, AADHAAR Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License/Caste Certificate /Physically Handicapped Certificate / PRTC/ Bank Pass Book / EPIC (Voter I Card) at the time ofcertificate verification. Certificate verification will be done as per schedule to be published on TRBT'swebsite.

8.Fee: 'UOO/- for Unreserved Category and '{SO/- for SC/ST/PH category. Fee once paid will not bereturned. Candidature of a candidate will not be accepted if TRBT does not receive the fee forwhatsoever reason. Application will not be accepted if the fee is deposited after the scheduled dateas mentioned in this notification and fee once paid will not be refunded.

9.Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates:

Candidates having disability such as Blind or Low Vision (Partially Blind), Partially Deaf andLocomotors Disability (Ortho) can only apply under PHcategory. The percentage of disability must be40% or above. P.H. candidates must select the type of disability from the dropdown box and alsomention percentage of disability while filling in online registration form.

IMPORTANT: Candidates to ensure their eligibility for the post. Candidates applying for apost should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for selection to the post. Selection issubject to verification of certificates and correctness of information given by the candidates in theonline application form. Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars as furnishedin the online application form. Their admission to all the stages of the selection process will bepurely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of ApplicationAcknowledgement Page to a candidate will not imply that his/ her candidature has been finallycleared by the Board. Similarly getting invitation for certificate verification will not entitle a candidateany right for selection to the post for recruitment. In case of any subsequent detection of false ordefective information or suppression of facts, even after selection / appointment, his/ hercandidature will be summarily rejected. Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application,disregarding the eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditionsetc. as laid down in this notification, will be rejected. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria /terms and conditions of this notification. TRBT's functions are limited up to selection of candidatesfor a particular post and recommend it to the concerned department. The recruitment will be doneby the department and TRBTshall not be held responsible for recruitment.

Candidates must be in possession of minimum required qualification and mark sheet(s)/certificate of the academic and profession qualification as on the last date of submission ofapplication as mentioned in this notice

The candidates must note that T-TET Certificates issued to them are based on the fact thatthe Teachers' Training Diploma/Degree obtained by them is from the Institution recognised by NCTE/RCI(as applicable). However, if any dispute is noticed/reported at any stage regarding the recognitionstatus of the institution from where the candidate obtained the Teachers' Training Diploma/Degreeor if it is found that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility and recruited on the basis offalse/forged/fake certificate/qualification/inadvertent error, the Board will recommend theconcerned authority to take appropriate action against such candidate.
