The Lion’s Den Welcome Back! 2020-2021 Special Edition Back to School 2020-2021 Dear Parents/Guardians of Brimm Medical Arts High School, WELCOME BACK! I hope that everyone had a wonderful and safe summer. The Brimm Medical Arts High School Family is very excited for the upcoming 2020 -2021 School Year. While we are certainly disappointed that our students will not be able to have an in-person beginning of the school year, we have made every attempt to uphold the traditions of the past lessons in a new way. Our Brimm team of teachers and staff are doing everything they can to make this virtual and remote learning paramount. On September 8, all Camden students will begin remote instruction. During the remote learning period, students will have access to their teacher(s) and live lessons every day via Google Meet and/ or Zoom. Lessons will be taught in synchronous (live teacher and student) and asynchronous (recorded or self-guided) sessions, small groups with teachers and paraprofessionals. Each day of instruction will begin at 9:00 am for our high school students. All students will participate in synchronous learning between 9:00 am - 1:15 pm. Afternoons will be dedicated to independent work time and as needed 1:1 or small group sessions for students/families to meet with teachers for additional academic support. Attendance will be taken daily. The schedules and classroom assignments for students will be online for you to access the week of August 31, 2020. Also, teachers and staff will be available to assist in this process of distributing books and materials that are needed for students on September 11. On September 8, 2020 students will meet with their class via zoom to virtually meet their teachers, paraprofessionals and staff. Times and Zoom meeting codes will be messaged out via Facebook, Twitter and emails. For the most up to date information follow us on Facebook @Dr. Charles E. Brimm and Twitter @Brimm MAHS. Again we recognize that the districts decision to begin the school year fully remote may not be the most ideal for all families; however, providing the best, the safest and the healthiest learning environment for all our students and staff is paramount. Thank you for your continued support. Sincerely, Ms. Corinne J. Welcome Back! 2020-2021

Special Edition Back to School 2020-2021

Dear Parents/Guardians of Brimm Medical Arts High School,

WELCOME BACK! I hope that everyone had a wonderful and safe summer. The Brimm Medical

Arts High School Family is very excited for the upcoming 2020 -2021 School Year. While we are

certainly disappointed that our students will not be able to have an in-person beginning of the school

year, we have made every attempt to uphold the traditions of the past lessons in a new way. Our

Brimm team of teachers and staff are doing everything they can to make this virtual and remote

learning paramount.

On September 8, all Camden students will begin remote instruction. During the remote learning

period, students will have access to their teacher(s) and live lessons every day via Google Meet and/

or Zoom. Lessons will be taught in synchronous (live teacher and student) and asynchronous

(recorded or self-guided) sessions, small groups with teachers and paraprofessionals.

Each day of instruction will begin at 9:00 am for our high school students. All students will

participate in synchronous learning between 9:00 am - 1:15 pm. Afternoons will be dedicated to

independent work time and as needed 1:1 or small group sessions for students/families to meet with

teachers for additional academic support. Attendance will be taken daily.

The schedules and classroom assignments for students will be online for you to access the week of

August 31, 2020. Also, teachers and staff will be available to assist in this process of distributing

books and materials that are needed for students on September 11.

On September 8, 2020 students will meet with their class via zoom to virtually meet their teachers,

paraprofessionals and staff. Times and Zoom meeting codes will be messaged out via Facebook,

Twitter and emails. For the most up to date information follow us on Facebook @Dr. Charles E.

Brimm and Twitter @Brimm MAHS.

Again we recognize that the district’s decision to begin the school year fully remote may not be the

most ideal for all families; however, providing the best, the safest and the healthiest learning

environment for all our students and staff is paramount.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Ms. Corinne J. Macrina
