MLB: The Boston Red Sox can call themselves wor ld champions again. On October 28, the Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angles Dodgers, 5-1 in game 5 of the World Series. This is their 9th World Series championship since 1903 and their 4th since 2004. Left fielder Steve Pearce won the MVP award. He hit two home runs during game 5. Game 3 was also a historic game as the longest game in world series history. The game lasted 18 innings and more than seven hours. It was the only win for the Dodgers. NFL: Week 10 is already here and the season is half way over already. There have been lots of surprises so far this year. Twelve scientists and business executives from Janssen of Johnson and Johnson spoke to our students about the importance of staying in school and following their dreams. They inspired us with their own stories of challenges and success they endured to reach their goals and still face as professionals. Thank you Mr. Chavarria and Dr. Fine for this opportunity!
