5. New Features

5.1. Support for LTE Series TCU

This release of TASKIT C2K supports the latest generation of the Spirent SR8048 and SR8068 Test Configuration units.

Prior to this release, when CDMA equipment (Agilent Spectrum analyzers and Agilent ESGs) was shared with LTE RF performance testing equipment, you had to re-cable when switching between LTE RF Performance testing and CDMA 1x RF testing. The primary reason for this was that TASKIT did not support the LTE Series TCUs SR8048 and SR8068.

With this release of TASKIT C2K, there is no reason to re-cable when equipment is shared between LTE and CDMA.

The following themes can now be tested without re-cabling:

• LTE RF Performance Testing (VZW Supplementary RF & ATT RF Parametric Testing)

• LTE LBS Performance (LTE Location testing)

• C2K RF Parametric (C.S0011 and TIA 98D/E/F Testing)

• PLTS Performance (CDMA Location testing)

• EV-DO RF Parametric (C.S0033 Rev0, Rev A)

NOTE: TASKIT C2K still supports the legacy SR5048 and SR5068 TCUs.

5.2. Support for SVLTE RF Conformance Performance Tests (1xRTT Performance in the Presence of an LTE Data Call)

This release of TASKIT C2K supports the following test cases as specified in the Verizon Wireless Compliance Test Plan: Conformance and Performance for Simultaneous Circuit Switched Voice and Packet Data Capable LTE Multi-Mode Devices (v4.0, Issued: June 2011).

Test Number Test Name

2.2.2 1xRTT Voice Call Reliability

NOTE: This feature requires that the STG1-SVLTE-TP1 security option be enabled. If this option is not available, contact your local sales representative for further details.
