Responsibilities : System Installation Engineer
Submit Design/Installation/T&C document, subcontractor (Thales) management coordination, Correspondence
and meetings for Design, Installation and T&C stage. Site activity support for installation and T&C, Technical
support and general correspondence to the client (MOMRA) and subcontractors. DCID (Design coordination
interface document) review and submit, Punch list clearance for Communication System, Rolling stock, OCS,
Power Supply, Signaling and Civil Ensure the technical documents are prepared accordingly to specifications and
contractual requirements for Design, Factory Acceptance test FAT, Installation site Acceptance test SAT and
testing and commissioning Testing documents including Technical drawings RAMS (Reliability, Availability,
Maintainability and Safety).
Maintain up to date records of all information and ensure that it is available to the team comply with all aspects
of the design works instructions. Issue and distribute controlled copies of information in accordance with the
design Management Plan. Check information on the drawings for conformance with status and format agreed.
Liaise with designers and specialists, suppliers on queries regarding issue of information.
Responsible for Communication System included Time Distribution System, On Board Communication System,
Internal Communication System (CCTV, PA, PID, TEL, Radio, MSN, TDS, and IAS), Rolling stock, OCS, Power supply,
signaling and Civil. Interface Co-ordination and external Communication System (Depot, Civil, Signaling, Rolling
Stock, Power and MMS). Managing projects needs and attending regular meetings to discuss the best way to
move project forward. Participating in conference calls and meetings to discuss products, action plans and team
performance, managing resources, including budget, physical resources and staff, preparing high quality written
reports and presentations for management and customer review, ensuring that the tasks are delivered on time.
Installation & Testing, Maintenance
Working as Comms & SCADA Engineer, Hand on Experience of Engineering Services in Railway implementation,
testing, rectification, commissioning, operation and maintenance. Perform troubleshooting and preventive
maintenance of signaling system such as regular inspection and functional test of wayside signaling equipment,
wayside signaling equipment, Installation and checking of cables in point and crossing area, Manual switching of
point machines in case of malfunction. Preparation of daily/monthly/quarterly/annually activity and
maintenance reports. Conduct daily and monthly preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in Train borne
system. Install, inspect, maintain, repair, provide diagnostic analysis reports, replace or modify electronic and
electrical components and defective parts for Light Rail Transit (LRT) wayside signaling, communications and
SCADA system equipment. Fire and security system equipment, telephone system equipment, fiber optic
network system equipment, public address system equipment, and CCTV system equipment. Conducting
Preventive maintenance of communication discipline such as (CCTV, ACS, BBRS, TETRA, PIDS, PAS, TDS, TEL, MMS
and MSN as well as conduction Preventive maintenance for Signaling such as (ATS, Data Communication
Equipment, On-Board (Trip stop, VOBC), Track side equipment’s. Liaise with installation and testing staff to
ensure installation and testing procedures and system conform to the appropriate design and project

Day to day hands on maintenance of key equipment dealing with breakdowns, total predictive maintenance
tasks and overall equipment effectiveness improvements. Ensure that all equipment is maintained to all highest
standards. Responsible for the sourcing of spare parts from suppliers and that raising of internal order
