La-Vang Talent Show 2016

Rules & Regulations 1. Contestants will be selected on a first come, first serve basis (pending suitability of content for

public performance, space/equipment constraints, and the desired length of the show.)

2. No one will be allowed to perform in the competition if he/she has not registered or

participated in an audition.

3. Singing, dancing, playing instruments, drawing, wearing Áo Dài with another talent are all the

contest categories.

4. Using batons, pyrotechnics, dangerous equipment or live animals are prohibited.

5. All performances must be appropriate for family and TV audiences. All contestants must submit

all song lyrics and any songs in mp3 format that will be used during the performance. This must

be included with the registration form.

6. Each contestant for singing and playing instruments must email a demo audio (can be audio

recorded by IPhone) to talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com by January 20, 2016.

7. Each contestant for dancing, variety (magic acts, ventriloquism acts etc.) must email a demo

video (can be video recorded by IPhone) to talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com by January 20,

2016.

8. There will be no audition for singing, dancing, playing instruments, drawing and variety.

9. Each contestant for Áo Dài with another talent will be given a pre-determined time to have

profile photos taken and participate in an audition.

10. Áo Dài Contest Audition for the registered contestants is not open to the public.

11. Any cancellations for Áo Dài Contest Audition must be emailed to

talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com by 12PM on January 22, 2016. Contestants who don’t show

up on time for the audition will automatically be withdrawn from the contest.

12. If contestants who already registered for the Talent Show and would like to withdraw from the

contest, they must send a cancellation email to talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com by 12PM on

January 24, 2016.

13. Due to space, time and equipment constraints, we cannot allow bands to participate during the

contests.

14. Dancing and singing contestants can bring songs in MP3 that can be stored in CD/USB storage

that has only one song to be used during the contest. Contestants are responsible for picking up

their media storage after the contest. Please label the media storage appropriately.

15. Absolutely no acrobatic/gymnastic moves allowed for dancing contestants.

16. Lip sync and karaoke are not permitted for the singing contest.

17. Contestants are responsible for their own props and costumes.

18. All props and costumes must be picked up after performance.

19. No sexual explicit, vulgar, obscene or racially slurred content or actions will be permitted. No

risqué costuming or racial body painting is allowed. No use of profanity languages will be

permitted during the contest.

20. If a performance is judged poorly in qualities, no points will be awarded for the contestant.

21. Contestants will be escorted off stage at anytime if the performance is unacceptable according

to the rules and regulations.

22. Professional entertainers are not eligible to enter any contest. A professional is anyone who

uses the means of contest to make a living.

23. Be prepared to enter and exit the performance area quickly to keep the transition between

performances smoothly. Therefore, planning ahead with any “set up/tear down” for your

performance may be required.

24. Contestants are required to have the Risk and Responsibility Form signed at the checkin desk.

Parents/Legal guardians must accompany contestants under age of 18 at the check-in time. The

check-in time will be announced to all the contestants after the registration due date.

Contestants will not be allowed to participate in the contest without the signed forms.

26. Rules and regulation are subject to change at the discretion of the La-Vang Talent Show 2016

organizers.

27. La-Vang Talent Show Committee reserves the right to cancel the La-Vang Talent Show 2016 at

any time due to lack of registered contestants or inclement weather.

Parental/Guardian Warnings

Negative interference by contestant parents, guardians or guests will result in disqualification and

possible removal from the premises.

Categories Youth: ages 9 - 14

Teen & Young Adult: ages 15 - 25

Selection of applicants - Depending on the number of registrations received, a selection committee

may come into effect to determine the eligibility to participate in the contests.

Proof of Age (Youth Category)

Should a contestant’s age come into question; proof of birth date will be required (copy of birth

certificate)

Eligibility for Talent Search - The contest is open to non-professional performers only.

Judging Judging will be based on but not limited to the following criteria:

Talent – (ability, expertise, skill, proficiency, knowledge)

Showmanship – (poise, confidence, projections, adaptability, stage presence)

Costume/staging – (cleverness, creativity, appropriateness, continuity, special effects)

Response Each act will have up to 4 minutes to perform and up to 5 minutes to set.

Point deduction – for going over time limits. An official timekeeper will time each act. One point will be

deducted from each judge’s score for every 5 seconds you go over the minute time limit.

Decisions made by the judges are final. Disputes with officials or judges concerning these decisions will

result in disqualification.

Thi Tài Năng La-Vang 2016

Quy Định Và Điều Lệ

1. Thí sinh sẽ được chọn theo quy định đến trước thì phục vụ trước với điều khiện là nội dung phải phù hợp với lối trình diễn ở nơi công cộng, những sự hạn chế về chổ và các thiết bị, và thời gian được hạn định của buổi trình diễn.

2. Không có thí sinh nào được phép trình diễn nếu không ghi danh hoặc tham dự vào buổi thi thử.

3. Có 5 thể loại thi: thi ca hát, thi nhảy, thi nhạc cụ, thi vẽ và thi Áo Dài cùng với một tài năng khác.

4. Việc sử dụng gậy, những đồ hỏa công, thiết bị nguy hiểm, hoặc thú vật sống sẽ không được phép.

5. Tất cả các diễn xuất phải phù hợp với gia đình và khán giả trên TV. Tất cả các thí sinh phải gửi lời của bài hát hoặc bài nhạc trong thể loại MP3 mà thí sinh sẽ dùng trong cuộc thi tài. Điều này được ghi rõ trong đơn ghi danh tham dự.

6. Mỗi thí sinh tham dự trong cuộc thi về ca hát hoặc biểu diễn nhạc cụ phải gửi email thu âm bài mình sẽ hát hoặc biểu diễn nhạc cụ về talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com trước ngày 20 tháng 1, năm 2016.

7. Mỗi thí sinh tham dự cuộc thi múa, thi Các tài năng khác, phải gửi một đoạn thu hình tiết mục mình sẽ trình diễn về talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com trước ngày 20 tháng 1, năm 2016.

8. Thí sinh thi ca hát, múa, nhạc cụ, vẽ, và một số tài năng khác, sẽ không tham dự trong buổi thi thử.

9. Mỗi thí sinh tham dự cuộc thi Áo Dài với một tài năng khác sẽ được cho biết thời gian quy định để thí sinh có thể chụp hình và tham dự cuộc thi thử.

10. Cuộc thí thử Áo Dài với tài năng khác cho tất cả những thí sinh ghi danh sẽ không mở cho các khán giả.

11. Việc hủy bỏ tham dự cuộc thi áo dài phải gửi điện thư về cho talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com trước 12 giờ trưa ngày 22 tháng 1, năm 2016. Thí sinh nào không đến đúng giờ cho cuộc thi thử sẽ được coi là tự động rút tên ra khỏi cuộc thi.

12. Những thí sinh nào đã ghi danh tham dự trong Cuộc Thi Tài Năng mà muốn rút tên ra khỏi cuộc thi, phải gửi điện thư hủy bỏ về talentshowtetfestival@gmail.com trước 12 giờ trưa ngày 24 tháng 1, năm 2016.

13. Vì sự hạn chế về chổ, thời gian và thiết bị, chúng tôi không thể cho phép các ban nhạc tham dự vào các cuộc thi.

14. Những thí sinh thi múa và ca hát có thể mang theo bài hát theo thể loại MP3 có thể bỏ vào trong CD hoặc USB mà chỉ có 1 bài để trình diễn. Thí sinh nên thu lại những CD/USB sau khi thi. Nên đánh dấu CD/USB của mình để khỏi bị nhầm lẩn.

15. Tuyệt đối không có những điệu nhảy nhào lộn hoặc thể thao cho những thí sinh múa. 16. Hát nhép môi và hát karaoke thi không cho phép cho những thí sinh ca hát.

17. Tất cả các thí sinh phải chịu trách nhiệm về các trang phục và dụng cụ cần thiết cho cuộc thi.

18. Tất cả các thí sinh phải chịu trách nhiệm thu lượm tất cả các trang phục và dụng cụ của mình sau khi thi.

19. Không được sử dụng những nội dung có tính tình dục, tầm thường, tục tĩu hoặc có xu hướng đả kích một chủng tộc nào. Không được sử dụng trang phục có tính cách gợi cảm hoặc tranh vẽ về những chủng tộc. Không được sử dụng những lời chửi rủa trong cuộc thi. 20. Nếu một tiết mục được đánh giá thập, thí sinh sẽ không được điểm nào.

21. Thí sinh sẽ được đưa ra khỏi sân khâu bất cứ lúc nào nếu việc diễ n xuất không được chấp nhận vì đã vi phạm một trong những điều đã được quy định.

22. Những nghệ sĩ chuyên nghiệp sẽ không đủ điều kiện tham dự. Nghệ sĩ chuyên nghiệp là những người hành nghề ca hát, nhảy, chơi nhạc cụ để sinh sống.

23. Thí sinh phải chuẩn bị trước và sau khi trình diển để cho sử chuyễn tiếp giữa các tiếc mục được trôi chảy. Như vậy, thí sinh phài có kế hoạch khi dàn dựng và thu dọn.

24. Tất cả các thí sinh bắt buộc phải ký vào đơn Risk and Responsibility. Phụ huynh và những người giám hô phải đi theo các thí sinh dưới 18 tuổi trong lúc check-in. Thời gian check-in sẽ được thông báo đến tất cả các thí sinh sau ngày đóng sổ ghi danh. Thí sinh sẽ không được tham dự cuộc thi nếu không ký vào những đơn đã được quy định cho cuộc thi.

25. Nếu có thắc mắc gì, xin liên lạc trực tiếp đến Ban Thi Đua Tài Năng ở số điên thoại 571437-4586.

26. Những quy luật này có thể thay đổi bất cứ lúc nào tùy theo Ban Thi Đua Tài Năng. 27. Ban Thi Đua Tài Năng có thẩm quyền quyết đinh hủy bỏ cuộc thi bất cứ lúc nào vì không

đủ thí sinh hoặc thời tiết xấu.

Phụ Huynh/Người Giám Hộ Cảnh Báo

Sự can thiệp không tốt từ phía phụ huynh, người giám hộ, hoặc khán giả của thí sinh thì thí sinh đó sẽ bị loại ra khỏi vòng thi và có thể sẽ được mời ra khỏi khu vực.

Bằng Chứng về tuổi tác (Thể loại tuổi thanh xuân) Nếu có sự nghi ngờ về tuổi của thí sinh, thí sinh đó cần phải có giấy khai sanh. Điều Kiện để cho việc Tìm Kiếm Tài Năng - Cuộc thi mở cho tất cả những ai không phải là nghệ sĩ chuyên nghiệp. Chấm thi: Việc chấm thi sẽ tùy thuộc vào một số yếu tốt sau đây, những không giới hạn bởi những yếu tố này mà thôi: Tài năng - (khả năng, chuyên môn, kỹ năng, khả năng, và khiến thức) Nghệ thuận diễn xuất - (sự cân đối, tự tin, chiếu, khả năng thích ứng, trên sân khấu) Trang phục/Dàn dựng - (thông minh, sáng tạo, sự thích đáng, sự liên tục, hiệu ứng đặc biệt) Phản ứng: Mỗi thí sinh có tối đa là 4 phút để trình diễn và 5 phút để dàn dựng. Khấu trừ điểm - nếu đi qua thời gian hạn định. Một người ghi giờ sẽ báo giờ cho mỗi màn trình diễn. Một điển sẽ bị trừ từ mỗi trọng tài cho mỗi 5 giây quá thời gian hạn định. Quyết định của trọng tài là quyết định tối hậu. Việc tranh chấp với những quan chức hoặc trọng tài liên quan đến những quyết định sẽ đem lại kết qua là thí sinh bị loại trừ khỏi cuộc thi.
