Ask a Question
In this lab we first weighed a plant that wasn’t watered. Next we watered the plant and weighed it again. We repeated this 4 times.
What we wanted to find out is if it would grow.
Control vs. Variable State your hypothesis My group was a experimental group.
We used polluted water.
My hypothesis is was that the plant was going to grow and then die.

Data Interpretation During this experiment I think the water
affected the chance of the plant growing because it was polluted.
In my data when we weighed the plant when it was dry it was only around the 20’s or the 30’s. When it was wet the plaint weighed around the 40’s. The difference in the weight was at about in the 10’s. The plant never grew so it has no height.
State your Conclusion My hypothesis that I stated was incorrect.
Why do you think this happened? I think this happened because the polluted water is bad for the plant.
From this experiment I learned that acid rain will be bad for the enviroment, that’s why we need to focus on reducing our trash waste.
I can alter this experiment in the future by making different types polluted water and see if it will grow.
