Reliable, conforming to standards and certified

Developing our customised systems, o� en one unique model, we frequently tap into our wide range of SINGLE temperature control systems based on water and oil as transfer medium as well as our air- or water-cooled chillers with an integrated cooling circuit. As a matter of course, our systems comply with the European Pres-sure Equipment Directive (PED). SINGLE is a certi� ed manufacturerof pressure equipment according to Module A1 of the 97/23/EC directive. If required, our equipment will be adapted to complywith customer-speci� c standards and with regional directives suchas UL, CSA, GOST or ASME.

The systems’ functional range and all certi� cations are docu-mented in detailed technicial information brochures. SINGLE Temperiertechnik GmbH operates with a quality management system that is certi� ed to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

Multi-circuit temperature control and cooling systemsin container design

Large instruments used by the chemical industry and high-per-formance extrusion or calender lines for plastic or rubber pro-cessing frequently require tailor-made temperature control andcooling solutions.

These temperature control and cooling systems are o� en equip-ped with several circuits and are expected to operate with max-imum capacity. They also frequently contain customer-speci� c special equipment, which requires a special design and non-standard dimensions.

SINGLE develops these special systems with open or closed steel construction or as compact containers. This allows perfectly easytransport to destinations all over the world and the small footprintfacilitates on-site installation. If required, SINGLE technicians will also carry out start-up procedures on the customer’s site.

SINGLE systems are heated by vapour or hot water. Circuits with heat transfer oil as a circulating medium achieve temperatures of up of up of to 350 °C, while circuits with pressurised water achieve up to 200 °C and more.

The compact containers come with a central power supply, con-nections for cooling water and vapour, and, if required, conden-sate, hot water and pressurised air. The oil circuits operate withjoint expansion tanks. Using standard and customary componentsguarantees fast and easy replacement of parts.

Temperature control systems for test benches

Hydraulic tests on engines, heat exchangers and other technicalcomponents for vehicles and aircra� involve the application ofdi� erent temperatures, flow rates and pressure levels. The special test benches, which are used for research, development or series production, require liquid media with accurately controlled, con-stant temperatures or complex temperature pro� les. SINGLEsupplies special hydraulic components with a compact designand customised con� guration to manufacturers and test bench operators. If required, these are built with special dimensions or con� gured as multi-component systems.

SINGLE test bench systems for industrial and research applica-tions are heated electrically or by means of vapour/hot water.They cover a temperature range from -40 °C to 350 °C when oper-ated with heat transfer oil and to 200 °C or more when operated with hot water. Frequency-controlled pumps or valves allow the temperature control systems to control the flow rates and/or operating pressure levels as well as the media temperature with speci� c accuracy so as to simulate realistic serial operation orconditions of high stress for safety checks. If required, they are equipped with multi-level heaters or coolers featuring several feed media, and with an integrated chiller with compressor cir-cuit. For simulating realistic operating conditions, special media can be used instead of water or oil.

Temperature control systems with a special design

SINGLE is a preferred partner of many machine manufacturers and processors, providing solutions for modular temperature control systems and compact integrated temperature control systems. These systems for integration into the customer’s ma-chinery and lines are con� gured to meet customer and applica-tion requirements. With their tailored heating, cooling, flow rate con� gurations and other options they control temperatures ac-cording to speci� c requirements.

Customised systems are available as special constructions or,for large orders, as special series. The latter products are sup-plied quickly and cost-e� ciently and spare parts are availableo� the shelf.

Compact integrated temperature control systems

Temperature control technology is integrated as a system com-ponent into machinery for plastics, food, and pharmaceutical processing or in plant engineering applications. These compo-nents may be purely hydraulic assemblies, which are delivered as complete units without electronic equipment and integrated and controlled by the customer. Many renowned OEM select SINGLE as their preferred supplier of special and challengingtemperature control solutions.

Modular temperature control systems

Major injection moulding specialists and other industrial sup-pliers o� en operate with modular, multi-circuit temperature control systems. SINGLE systems have a particularly small foot-print. They are con� gured to include customer-speci� c special components and can be integrated into existing machines and production lines.

Suspended temperature control systems

We develop temperature control systems for space-saving, sus-pendend installation to meet speci� c integration or mountingrequirements of machines, walls and standard constructions.

Suspended temperature control systems are frequently used by the plastics processing industry. With their ergonomic installa-tion height, they are easy to operate and the controller displays are clearly visible. Using water as a circulating medium, thesesystems deliver temperatures of up to 150 °C and heating capac-ities of between 3 kW and 12 kW. If required, we can integrate several supply and return lines. Flow rate metering is includedas standard.
