TAFE NSW Western Sydney Institute Nepean Campus GymDescription of Project: Nepean Campus Gymnasium
Objective:WSI Nepean Campus offers excellence and variety in its
education and training which meet the needs of about 8000
students.
Given the well-known benefits of exercise to improve students
study. WSI Nepean Campus wanted to provide a fitness zone
that felt young, stylish and attractive to their students.
The floor needed to be robust enough to handle the impact
resistance created by the body builder; while also able to
handle the competitiveness of students on the indoor
running track.
With the bare brickwork, black & white equipment, and the
cooling look of everroll® Palau, a first class gym was forged.
Featuring a consistent floor height for safety and ease of flow
from the equipment areas to the custom cut line inlays of the
running track.
Students leave the gym feeling energised, helping them to
improve their attention in cognitive tasks when they hit
the books.
