Approval of ITU-T Recommendations
A. 1 By TSB Circular 63 of 13 January 2006, it was announced that the following new ITU-T Recommendation was approved, in accordance with the procedures outlined in Resolution 1, Section 9, of the WTSA (Florianópolis, 2004):
– ITU-T Recommendation E.910 (15/12/2005): Procedures for registering within the domain “int”
The conditions governing the approval of ITU-T Recommendations were met and 33 Member States participating in the last meeting of Study Group 2 approved the text of this Recommendation during the Plenary session held on 15 December 2005.
A. 2 By TSB Circular 66 of 13 January 2006, it was announced that the following revised ITU-T Recommendation was approved, in accordance with the procedures outlined in § 6.2 of ITU-T Recommendation A.8 (Florianópolis, 2004):
– ITU-T Recommendation K.49 (16/12/2005): Test requirements and performance criteria for voice terminals subject to disturbance from digital mobile telecommunications systems
Maritime Identification Digits (MID)
In accordance with No. 19.34 of the Radio Regulations, the Maritime Identification Digit (MID) “856” has been allocated to the Kyrgyz Republic.

The length of the Subscriber Number (SN) in geographical numbering ranges is seven (7) digits and the format of the National (Significant) Number (N(S)N) is the following: A XXXXXXX.
– Non-geographical services
The National Destination Codes (NDC) for public mobile telecommunication networks are:
AB = 30, 31, 40, 41, 51, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70 and 71. Their length can be two (2), three (3) or four (4) digits (AB, ABC or ABCD).
The length of the Subscriber Number (SN) is therefore six (6), five (5) or four (4) digits and National (Significant) Numbers (N(S)N) have the following formats:

The Office Tchadien de Régulation des Télécommunications (OTRT), N’djamena, announces that a new seven-digit (7) numbering plan was devised in December 2005.
OTRT expects operators to implement the new seven-digit (7) numbering plan in the coming months.
The transition from the current six-digit (6) numbering plan to the new seven-digit (7) numbering plan will take place in two stages:
– On 30 April 2006 at midnight: change-over of mobile network subscribers to the new plan;
– On 29 April 2007 at midnight: change-over of fixed network subscribers to the new plan.
On the dates indicated, the numbers of subscribers on the fixed and mobile telephone networks will be modified as shown in the tables below.
For technical reasons, the fixed telephone operator will not change its subscribers over to the new seven-digit (7) numbering plan until one year after the change-over for mobile network subscribers.
