Welcome to our 2015 VW T5 Parts Catalogue. As you will see, we have completely reworked the layout and included easy-to-use artwork, so you can find the parts you need in seconds. It should be obvious we now supply a vastly increased range of replacement mechanical, electrical and body components.

We have spent the past year sourcing parts to extend our product range. We are planning ahead, thinking about the future of your T5 and pre-empting the fact that parts direct from VW are certain to become harder to get, after the model is to be superseded by the new T6 this year.

The products within this catalogue represent the current range, but as we are constantly adding new parts, it is always worth checking our website.

Don’t forget, as a JK customer we offer you free delivery for all orders over £35 and no extra charges for large ‘oversize’ parcels such as bumpers or panels. This applies to Mainland UK only, but equates to a great saving for you and is something unique to JK.

Service Regimes for Diesel Engines*

The LongLife Service Regime is so called because there are no set intervals. The intervals between services will vary depending on how you drive your vehicle and the conditions of use. There is however maximum time/distance parameters set and if the service light has not come on it will do so when either maximum mileage or time limit is met.

The maximum mileage/time parameters vary by model, for more detailed information on LongLife Service regimes and their suitability for your requirements please contact your local Van Centre.

If you would like a more traditional service regime the vehicle can be adapted by your authorised Volkswagen Van Centre or Van Service Centre to the Time/Distance regime. This can be done at the point of vehicle sale or when an inspection service is carried out. An oil change is required every 10,000 miles for Caddys and Transporters and 12,500 for Crafters on the Time/Distance regime.

LongLife Service Regime

We recommend this service if you are likely to drive more than 25 miles a day, and if you tend to drive in the following way:

• Regular long distance driving• Driving at a constant speed with minimum vehicle and engine loading, and minimal towing• Economical driving

This LongLife regime has been made possible due to the development of new Volkswagen engines with the latest technically advanced longlife oil. These engines use built-in sensors that continually monitor the oil quality, making it possible to enjoy reliable and confident motoring for up to a maximum of 18,000* miles or 24 months (whichever occurs first).

A brief history of the VW T5 2003 onwards

April 2003 to August 2009The T5 was the replacement for the T4 and is the fifth generation of Volkswagen Transporter. Available as a medium sized light commercial vehicle and people carrier, it featured petrol and diesel options as well as a choice of front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive (4-Motion).

In June 2009, VW announced that the one-millionth T5 had rolled off the production line in Hanover.

September 2009 onwardsThe T5 was revised with a facelift and new engine and transmission options, including a 7-speed (DSG) double clutch gearbox.

Time and Distance Service

We recommend this service if you are likely to drive less than 10,000* miles in a year, and if you tend to drive in the following way:

• Mainly city centre driving, short journey with frequent cold starts• High engine loading activities, e.g. frequent hill climbs, driving with your vehicle fully loaded and towing• Uneconomical driving using high rpms with heavy acceleration and heavy braking

*Please note that all mileages are approximate as the service indicator system uses kilometres as the distance measurement.

What is LongLife oil?

LongLife oil is a high grade, fully synthetic oil with increased resistance to ageing and high temperatures

Can I use any high grade fully synthetic oil even just to top up?

No! All Model Year 2007 and later Caravelle and Transporters require LongLife III VW norm 50700 oil. Although this oil is designated 5w30, not all 5w30 oils are the same. The critical oil standard is VW 50700 which MUST be displayed on your bottle. Use of the incorrect specification of oil may cause damage to your engine.

The new revised VW T5 GP (also known as T5.1 or ‘Facelift’) was introduced by Volkswagen in September 2009. The good news is that it is very easy to make the same external changes to any VW T5 built between April 2003 and August 2009.

Just Kampers VW T5 Kombination Seat (SWB)The Kombination Seat has been designed and manufactured exclusively in the UK, for Just Kampers.

We set out to address the obvious failings of the aftermarket ‘rock and roll’ seats on the market, the main one being the way they are mounted to the vehicle. Pull Tested to EU specifications, the Kombination seat is unique in that it offers full-width seating for three adults in the center of the vehicle leaving the rear section as a van. The Kombination also offers load space under the seat.

We have designed the seat to be mounted to a frame which in turn mounts to the VW factory fitted pallet mounting points – as these are crash tested and far superior to other methods of aftermarket seat fitment, such as bolting it through the floor. Both the Kombination seat and the frame have been pull-tested to comply with all the current legistlation by the Specialist Transport Advisory & Testing Utility Society. The Kombination seat is also removable should you wish to have the full carrying capacity of the van.

The Kombination Seat uses VW factory fitted ‘pallet’ mounting points.

The Kombination Seat is designed to offer load space under the seat, for trips to the DIY store, surf boards etc.

The Kombination seats three adults comfortably in line with the sliding door for easy entry and exit. You can still communicate easily with the driver. Passengers can use the sliding window for ventilation.

Fitting Rear Side Fixed Window Glass to an Uncut Rear Panel

When you fit front side windows to a Panel van you end up with a van that looks like a Kombi and still has van rear panels. If you want the versatility of a Kombi but the looks of a passenger Bus, we have the answer. Simply bond rear windows to the body! From the outside it looks as though you have windows, even though you don’t. We carried out this nifty trick on the MD’s black 4-Motion Panel van. To fit the windows you need to key the paintwork before bonding (J18126) the ‘faux’ windows in place.

Airtronic D2 Diesel Heater Kit with 801 Modulator comes complete with everything needed to fit the unit into a VW T5. The Eberspächer Airtronic D2 is a compact and economical diesel powered heater offers optimised fuel efficiency, a range of operation modes and unsurpassed safety standards.

DynaDeck is vinyl flooring, which has a very similar appearance to carpet, but is hardwearing and water resistant, and can be removed to be cleaned.
