Support the Production of our Bulletin For quite some time we have been producing our own bulletin al-lowing us to meet the needs of the three languages. If we were to send this bulletin out to be produced, we would have to have one bulletin in English only for everyone and the publications of the Readings in Italian and Spanish would have to come to an end. Help us by Supporting our advertisers and also by placing an ad in our bulletin for a year. Please call the office for more information.

For the intentions of Maria Porrovechio
MASS INTENTIONS Jesus demonstrated the love God his Father has for us by living for us and dying for us. Hence, as his disciples, we are to be persons for others, sacrificing our time, talents and lives for others. This is what parents spontaneously do for their children by sacrificing themselves, their time, talents, health and wealth for them. That is, they “spend” themselves for their children. The most effective way of communicating God’s love to others is by treating everyone as a friend, giving each the respect he or she deserves as a human being, God’s creation. In moments of trial and stress, when people are hostile or ungrateful, and we feel the pull of bitter resentment in our hearts, it is important for us to remember that Christ’s own love was not limited to the people he liked.
To all mothers in our parish we wish you a day of bless-ings. May your gift of moth-
erhood be mirrored to the love of our heavenly mother,
Mary, mother of our Lord.
Healing Mass This coming Friday, May 15, at
7:00pm we are, once again, hav-
ing our Healing mass in which we
administer the Sacrament of the
Sick. This is a good opportunity to
bring the elderly and the sick to re-
ceive this important Sacrament of Healing. Follow-
ing the mass we have the devotions to St. Expedito,
patron saint of the Urgent cases. Everyone is wel-
come. Confessions will be heard at 6:30pm.
St. Vincent DePaul Society Last weekend we had our SVDP bundle up drive. We thank everyone for their out-pouring of gifts, household items and clothing. Donated items are provided to our neighbor’s in need in communities across the GTA and to those whom we serve through our supportive housing and outreach programs. These times are when we follow the command of Jesus and show love and kindness to the poor and the dis-advantaged. We are blessed to have such a giving community.
Second Collection Next weekend we have a second collection “Maintenance Fund” or “Blue envelope” to continue with our responsibility of taking care of the regular maintenance of our build-ing. Our regular collection barely takes care of the expenses of the running of our parish
and we should really think about how maintenance, when neglected, can get us into more expensive consequences. The maintenance of our Church building is not the responsibility of the Archdiocese and/or the Vatican we are the ones using the build-ing for worship, we need staff to care for parish needs and priests to care for the pas-toral needs of our community, so we must continue to take care of our communal re-sponsibilities.
Offertory News!!! Changes to PAG: Please contact the Parish office to make any changes to your Pre-Authorized Giving’s prior to notifying your bank with the changes. Donation Envelopes: Please do not use prior year’s envelopes as some of the old numbers may have been reassigned to oth-er parishioners and your donation may be misdirected. Only use the 2015 envelopes that were assigned to you.
New Beginnings Congratulations Fr. Bartek
For nearly two years, Fr. Bartek has served our parish as an assistant pastor and we have come to enjoy him very much. But, with a bitter-sweet mix of emotions we congratulate him as he has been appoint-ed pastor of St. Bernard Clairvaux, a neighboring parish. We will have the op-portunity to express our gratitude and good wishes to him on the weekend of June 13 and 14, 2015 after all masses. Fr. Bartek will begin his new assigned minis-try July 1st. Our prayers and gratitude go with him and we call upon the help of St. Bernard to guide him as pas-tor of this new community.

Pray for Vocations
The greatest love story that ever happened: God’s con-tinuing love for His people. All God asks is “Love one another as I have loved you”. The world really needs to see people who are trying to love others with all their hearts. Priests, reli-gious and deacons can be excellent ex-amples of this love. If you are willing to answer God’s call, call Fr. Chris Lemieux, Vocation Director, Archdio-cese of Toronto 416-968-0997 Or email [email protected]

ShareLife Working wonders for the elderly…retired long-term and recently experi-encing the passing of his wife, Jamie has adjusted his life again by moving to Les Centres d’accueil Héritage. as CAH is the only French-speaking re-tirement home in Toronto, Jamie is
drawn by the camaraderie of other French–speaking friends. He may be alone at this time in his final senior years, but the activities and friend-ship there give Jamie the love and support he needs to live happily as he freely shares his life stories with those around him. Last year Share-Life-supported agencies provided outreach programs that met the needs of over 2,200 seniors. Thank you for your generosity. Together we can work wonders!

Baptism Class and Orientation During the months of July and August, 2015 Baptism Orientation and Baptism Classes will not be available. We ask par-ents who are planning to request a baptism to keep in mind that once classes and ori-entations stop during the summer, the pro-cess cannot start until September. This does not mean that there are no baptisms in July and August, but only those who prepare ahead of time can choose any of these two months as baptism’s dates. Please contact the par-ish office for more information.

Questions for Reflection:
How does the Holy Spirit speak to you?
How was “the love of God revealed to us?”
What was the message God sent through Jesus about God’s own self?
