System Inventory Tool and Portal
The Honeywell System Inventory Tool provides a comprehensive system inventory documentation solution to support Honeywell’s contract renewal process. The tool enables our customers to complete their yearly contract renewal online through an automated system, better manage risk, be better prepared for any migrations, and ensure compliance and continuous evolution of their control system.
By knowing which assets are at a customer’s site, the data collected is also used to create the preventative maintenance plan for our customers via the PM Tool.
The System Inventory Tool collects asset data, which is then hosted in a secure Honeywell data center where the customer can view all their control system asset data (both hardware and software) through the System Inventory Portal. And best of all, the tool is provided free of charge by Honeywell for all contracted and non-contracted sites and does not require an SESP contract or A360 service agreement.

What is the System Inventory Tool
• Used to support automated contract renewals and migrations
• Collects inventory asset data from L1, L2, and L3- SIT R2xx.x version do NOT collect from L3- SIT R3xx.x version and newer support L3 inventory collections
• Experion support back to R310
• The tool generates an inventory file (.cab) that users upload to the System Inventory Portal to see their inventory details in a logical and graphical overview.
- .cab file is made up of up to five .XML files- .XML files can be converted to .XLS files via the converter tool
• Complimentary from Honeywell for current Experion PKS customers, the System Inventory Tool and Portal are available via www.honeywellprocess.com/support with site registration - the same login you use for the Spare Parts Online Store and your Support Community.

devices will be shown2. The yellow icon next to the Systems
in the device tree indicate areas that are missing information. You must assign names and resolve issues before moving on.
3. Every bolded entry, except for Do Not Process, in the System Devices list shown below, requires a System Name and MSID. Select one of the branches, then enter the System Name and MSID in the provided textboxes that appear to the right of the System Devices list.
4. In addition to configuring the bolded entries, devices that have not been associated with systems may be moved and sorted into other systems.

Important information for data collection on a TPS system
22
If collecting data from a TPS process control network (LCN, UCN, and data highway), an LVRLOG or
AUDIT file will be created. During this process, the site ID (MSID) must to be manually entered prior to
starting the query. Failure to do so will result in a failure to process the LVRLOG or AUDIT file by the
System Inventory Portal.
