Hartlepool Water has one of the lowest leakage rates in thecountry. We are committed to reducing leakage further byoffering a free one-off repair or replacement service for domesticcustomers supply pipe. Under our Watertight Promise, we willrepair or replace at our discretion, up to 25 metres ofunderground pipe that run from the street boundary to where thepipe enters your home (excluding pipes that run under buildings).
The pipe remains the responsibility of the householder.Hartlepool Water will offer this free service only once per supplypipe (subject to terms and conditions).

STEP 2We’ll visit you and complete a survey to findthe best place for your meter. 1 in 4 meterscan be fitted during this visit. If we can’t fityour meter we’ll arrange to come back or
notify you if we will need to dig.
