The powerful, throaty rumble of the INTRUDER M800’s V-Twin announces
your presence wherever you go. A genuine product of Suzuki’s
high-technology cruiser heritage, the 805cm3 liquid-cooled, eight-valve,
fuel-injected 45-degree V-Twin powerplant is built to bring you exciting
torque from down low in the rpm range and excellent fuel economy.
The advanced, efficient fuel-injection (FI) system features the Suzuki Dual
Throttle Valve (SDTV) system featuring Engine Control Module-controlled
secondary butterfly valves to deliver smooth low-to-mid-rpm throttle
response and high torque output. Multi-hole-type fuel injectors deliver
a fine spray for a powerful yet fuel-efficient operation. The FI system
includes an Idle Speed Control System which eliminates the choke and
shortens the engine’s warm-up time. Powerful 32-bit-processor Engine
Control Module (ECM) helps ensure precise control. To cut down on
emissions, a Pulsed AIR (PAIR) injection system introduces air into
the exhaust ports to ignite unburned hydrocarbons. The engine now also
has a shiny, visually pleasing chrome-plated overall finish shared with
the larger Suzuki performance cruisers.

The handlebar is closer to the rider for a more user-friendly riding position.
The wide, comfortable seat is reshaped for a smooth visual harmony with
the new, sporty rear fender and the new, optional tailsection cover.
The steel double-cradle frame is now mated to a new chromed steel
tailsection, adding a robust,touch. The cast-aluminum 16-inch
front/15-inch rear wheels now have a gleaming silver finish.
Chassis highlights carried over unchanged include 41mm inverted front
forks that add sporty looks and performance.
