History PanelThe History Panel Is located on the right hand side of the screen close to the corner of the main window screen. The panel lets you undo and redo your actions, without clicking any key combinations or going through the menus, as it presents a window which enables you to navigate the previous actions you have taken.

Unit 4 PO2 P4- Organising Digital Workspace

Colour SelectionOn the left toolbar. Double clicking on the colour boxes brings up a window to change the colour. You can also alternate between two colours by selecting one of the solid colour boxes.

Digital Colour PalettesAdvantagesIt provides fast and easy access to the midtones, highlights and shadows on any colour on the spectrum. It also Provides a quick way to switch between colours via each colour having an ID and the palate itself.Differences to TraditionalDigital art lets you pick the right colour immediately without any mess and require more space for different sized painting equipment. Finally it can be argued that traditional art is a more relaxing process as it can be done anywhere, due to it not being limited to a computer.

Unit 4 PO2 M3- Advantages of Digital Painting Tool Sets

History TabAdvantagesIt provides an easy way of presenting your previous actions and a quick restart of a concept art piece.Differences to TraditionalIt is very difficult to fix mistakes on traditional art especially if it is paint. It also requires additional resources such as water or an eraser.

LayersAdvantagesLayers let the artist section off parts of the canvas, not altering thm in the process. Good for organisation and understand which parts of the piece are where.Differences to TraditionalTo create different layers within traditional art, the concept artist would have to use a translucent material such as tracing paper.

Paint BrushI used the paintbrush in my UI designs. The brush tool was used to create an outline for my designs and even add detail to the original outline to develop them. This was especially shown on my Inventory design where I drew an outline with a fairly thick brush then with a thinner brush, I added some detail by having smaller strokes.

Unit 4 PO2 P6- Demonstration of Digital Tools Available to a Concept Artist

LayersI used Layers in my UI designs to better organize each section of the design. An example of this is my Main Menu, where I neatly organised each part of the menu.

Eraser ToolThe Eraser tool was used in my UI designs to erase any mistakes I did during the creation of them. A pronominate part which I used them on is creating my words to shape each letter on how I wanted. An example of this is my use of it when forming my Inventory Title.

CompositionKnight Character on the bottom right hand side of the image. Engulfing the top left hand side is a Tyranid-esk worm-like creature. They are battling in quite a rocky environment with several large stalagmites scattered across the picture. On the right hand side of the picture there seems to be a fortress and mountains in the background. The image uses lots of muted greens and blues which make the pinkish features of the Behemoth and the red came of the warrior stand out.PerspectiveComes from a fairly low angle originating on the bottom right of the image. The image is also a dutch angle. Characters stand out from the the environment.ProportionSomewhat unrealistic and exaggerated proportions of the knight. Digital TechniquesUse of digital colour palette blend tool. Lighter tones to emphasize the sun's rays.

M1 Modification of Character Attributes within Gameplay

The character’s health continuously draws towards zero because the character, John, has a sun light allergy as well as the abrasiveness of the surface of the world he is on. To remedy this John needs to collect health potions to heal himself from the dangerous environment.

When the character sprints, his stamina decreases due to his tiredness. He can regain stamina by waiting to catch his breath or eating food to give him more energy.

As the character’s health increases, his speed decreases as well. This is because John finds it hard to run through the pain from the sun and abrasive surface. When his health reaches zero, his walk speed decreases to zero and acenterly dies of his wounds.
