WHAT IS SURVIVAL-MENTALITY?

This concept defines motivation

for mere existence; that is, living

for the basic necessities of life

without a passion for excellence

and self-actualization.

WHAT IS SURVIVAL-MENTALITY?

It is a concept that defines why

humans place more priority on

materialism rather than God,

eternity, character, influence and

productivity.

FACTS ABOUT SURVIVAL-MENTALITY

1. Survival-

mentality has no

respect for either

the rich or poor.


2. Survival-

mentality is not

God’s concept of

existence.


3. Survival-mentality places a limit on the destiny (all you were born to be) of a man.


4. Survival-

mentality affects

the

character/lifestyl

e of it’s victims.


5. Survival-

mentality

generates low-

self esteem and

mediocrity.

THE WAY OUT

1. You are not of this world; not

part of the systems, ideologies

and concepts of this world.

(Jn.17:16-17).

2. Understand your originality (redemptive position) in Christ; you have a unique destiny, born to for exploit and created to impact your generation. (Matt.5:13-15).

3. Keep saying it. Advertise it

yourself consistently.

4. Set excellence as a value:

excellence is not a project,

act or job description ;

excellence is a way of life.
