States Fiscal Conditions

• FY 2010:– 21 States had cuts in transportation programs totaling almost $3.4 billion

• FY 2011– 11 States have indicated cuts in transportation programs

• For FY 2011– without State Legislative action, one State DOT will not have enough revenues to match projected federal highway funds.

• For FY 2012 and beyond – four additional state DOTs may have problems
