The European Commission distinguishes basically three different types of countries:

MS Member States There are 28 EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy,
Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia,
Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
AC Associated Country (same right and obligations as a MS)
There are currently 16 AC: Iceland, Norway, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former
Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Israel, Moldova,
Switzerland, Faroe Islands, Ukraine, Tunesia, Georgia, Armenia
TC Third Country All other countries.
Fully eligible for all calls and (if selected) to receive
EU funding.

Space HATCH The Doorway to European Space Research and Innovation

HATCH aims to become a key tool for anyone interested in the European Space
industry. It will comprise projects funded by H2020, FP6, FP7, national agencies and
others. It will allow to:
- follow events
- publish information about Space projects
- look for collaboration partners and calls
- view and utilise results from previously completed projects
- look for trends and statistics

NCPs provide their support services on national level
NCP systems differ a lot between countries
COSMOS adds the European / international dimension
The network of Space NCPs:
