NEW DELHI, Nov 16: A Mumbai-bound GoAir

flight with about 100 passen-gers, including former ArmyChief General VK Singh, onboard was forced to return to theairport here following a firealarm today.

The Airbus A-320 returnedunder emergency conditions toIGI airport here after it had beenairborne for about 40 minutes,airport sources said.

Upon landing back at the air-port, the passengers were shiftedto another aircraft which flewthem to Mumbai.

The former Army chief wason his way to the MaharashtraState capital to launch his bookat the ongoing Mumbai LiteraryFestival. (PTI)
