Today’s Reflections: The Book of Revelation continues to give hope to the early con- verts as they faced persecution for the faith. And it continues to place before us the hope of eternal happiness, as we face the struggles of everyday life. There are so many distractions that can keep us from turning to God, so many things to do that we forget the time we should keep for God. Keep the thought of ETERNITY in your mind and make sure your priorities are in proper order. In Today’s Gospel, Jesus again promises his gift of peace, and tells us not to let our hearts be troubled. The only way we can arrive at that peace is to come to know Jesus more deeply. That will happen through prayer, faithful & attentive participa- tion in the Mass and reception of the Eucharist, and reading the Scriptures, especially the Gospels.
