There will be a Couples’ Bridal Shower for Katherine “KC” Brewer and

Lance Adams, on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in Room 129.

Lance is the son of Jeff & Eileen Adams. They are registered at Amazon,

Williams Sonoma and Sur La Table. The wedding will be June 23, 2018.

The 1 Church Initiative

Prayer Warriors needed ! For two years, we have joined other congregations in the area in offering prayers for the city of Houston. Each congregation prays the one day of the month for 24 hours. We are responsible for praying the last Thursday of every month. When we started, we had enough people to pray the 24 hours in 30 minute increments. Currently, we are in need of re-filling the ranks, as many prayer warriors have moved on. If you can help or want more information, please contact Kellie Power at

TEACHERS NEEDED

Make a difference in a child’s life by teaching a reading class this summer. We need teachers to help with reading classes this summer. No experience necessary - curriculum is provided. There are 3 sessions with each session lasting 6 days - Mon, Tue & Wed from 10:30 am to 11:45 am. You can teach alone or tag-team with someone.
