Dear Parents/Carers
SUMMER TERM NEWS
We are very busy next term with a number of events and initiatives.
Spruce Up Saturday on 21st April. To complement the school’s program of refurbishment, the PA will be giving the changing rooms a makeover. It’s a fun and practical way to help out and meet other parents, so if you can help on the day with the decorating or with refreshments, please email us on [email protected]. The event will run from 9.30am-3.30pm and lunch and drinks will be provided.
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sale on Friday 27th April. Prefects will be selling Krispy Kreme
doughnuts at break and lunch time to raise funds for the PA.
Strictly St Olave’s Ball on Saturday 28th April. This promises to be a fantastic night.
There are still tickets available and the deadline for ticket purchase and submission of
menu and wine choices has been extended to 19th April. If you have any questions,
please email [email protected].
Careers Fair on 2nd May 2pm-6pm. This event is being organised by the PA for the
benefit of all students at the school. Thank you to those who have volunteered to take
part. If you would like to help please email [email protected] with your details.
PA Meeting on Wednesday 16th May at 7.45pm in the library. Please come along and
join in, refreshments are provided.
Mock Tests on 9th, 16th and 23rd June. Running the mock tests is a huge undertaking,
thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help. Please continue to spread the word
and direct people to our website www.saintolavespa.net for more information.
Summer Fun Day on Saturday 7th July. More information will be sent out next term, but
we need as many volunteers as possible to make this a success. For now, we are
looking for advertisers in our brochure. Please see the attached letter and spread the
word. If you would like to run a stall, please email [email protected] with your
ideas.
Refreshments We will be supporting at least 10 school run events in the Summer term
including Jazz Night, Sports Dinner, School Open Morning and Sports Day. Thanks to all
who have signed up to our volunteer database, you will receive information shortly on the
dates and times we require help.
