When FUMC Child Development Center closes its academic doors in May, those same doors quickly re-open to welcome campers to a 10 week Summer Camp. This program is available to children 2 to 10 years of age. Each week has a different theme of exploraon, learning, and play. Every session will include water play, arts and craſts, outdoor adventures, games and much, much more. Whether they are outdoors, on the go or inside exploring, campers will always be under the experienced care and guidance of our well-trained staff. So join us for the whole summer or just a few weeks, but be sure that you do not miss out on all the fun! Some of the fun we have planned: field trips, special visitors, yummy treats and more! Where SUMMER is loved...

When FUMC Child Development

Center closes its academic doors in

May, those same doors quickly re-open

to welcome campers to a 10 week

Summer Camp. This program is

available to children 2 to 10 years of

age. Each week has a different theme

of exploration, learning, and play.

Every session will include water play,

arts and crafts, outdoor adventures,

games and much, much more.

Whether they are outdoors, on the go

or inside exploring, campers will always

be under the experienced care and

guidance of our well-trained staff.

So join us for the whole summer or just

Week 1: May 26-29

“Junior Detectives”

It’s the first week of camp and we

SPY fun times ahead! This week

campers will use their sleuthing skills

to solve mysteries, riddles and even

discover a treasure map or two.

Come be a spy kid with us!

Week 2: June 1-5

“Frozen Summer”

Just think how “cool” it will be to

explore all things cold or frozen.

June is National Ice Cream Month

and a great time to make your

own ice cream. A visit by Kona Ice

will be a highlight of the week!

Week 3: June 8-12

“Summer Science”

Are you a mad scientist? Do you

enjoy the ooey and gooey side of

science? If so, then put on your

lab coats and get ready to

experiment. We will put our senses

to the test with some ICKY STICKY

science experiments and travel to

outer space. This is going to be an

explosively fun week!

Week 8: July 13-17

“Superheroes of the Bible”

What do David, Sampson, Noah,

Jonah and Daniel have in common?

Campers will explore the

“Supernatural” abilities each of these

heroes were given in fun and

creative ways. Come experience

being a Bible hero!

Week 9: July 20-24

“It’s a Thing-a-ma-jig”

Calling all inventors! Let’s get the

gears turning and start preparing,

inventing and building. Campers will

spend this week using their STEM skills

and creativity to build fun and

unique structures with various

materials.

Week 10: July 27-31

“Come to the Carnival!”

Come one, come all to our End of

Summer Camp Carnival! A week for

campers to enjoy carnival games, an

inflatable, treats and fun indoors and

out. We will explore new and old

carnival games, characters and

activities. A fun way to say goodbye

to Summer!

Week 4: June 15-19

“Food for Thought”

Chop, dice, eat and repeat! Campers

will enjoy a week of feasting and

cooking some yummy creations. This

week is all about food and the fun

ways to prepare it. Campers will learn

a few fun tricks along the way!

Week 5: June 22-26

“Sports Fan-tastic Fun”

Calling all fun-craving, basketball

dribbling, soccer kicking sports fans…

are you ready for this Fan-tastic week

of sports? Campers will enjoy

channeling their inner All-Star as they

make some goals, score some baskets,

and even make a strike or two!

Week 6: June 29-July 2

“Ocean Week”

Are you ready to brave the waters?

We know we are! Campers will enjoy a

week of oceanic fun as they discover

what it means to live under the sea.

Come join us as we take on sharks and

other swimming creatures!

*No Camp on July 3rd

Week 7: July 6-10

“Junior Ranger Scout”

Bring your adventurous spirits as we

learn about the natural environment

and important skills of survival. We will

learn about ways to be safe in the

environment, basic first aid, speak with

real Scouts. Come join us as we

celebrate the great outdoors!
