St. Mary’s University Depaul library involved a renovation to replace fixtures, flooring and furniture funded by alumni donors. Spaces helped in the overall space planning design, selection of the furniture and install. Spaces supplied the front desk, all lounge areas, quiet room tables and chairs along with all open space collaborative tables and faculty private offices. The university requested that all tables, chairs and private office furniture come on casters to be able to be moved easily. The project involved two floors with the down stairs being a mixed use space of student union lounge and library. The second floor incorporated quiet spaces with more of a traditional look. We made sure that all fabrics used on the project were very durable for around the clock use.

Who says you can’t have glass on the bottom and cladding on top? Our Zero Gravity solution leverages the incredible strength of glass to create an airy resimercial feel that brings the comfort of home into the office. Glass is every bit as strong as steel or wood, and well, it’s a whole lot better at letting the light shine through.

Meet Kailey, our new Design Intern!
Kailey is a senior in the Design Program at Pitts-burg State University. Her favorite part of design is getting to collaborate with team members or other students to see different perspectives and expand on her own ideas.
When Kailey isn’t in class or working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as going to the lake on a nice day.
Fun Fact about Kailey is that she’s been zip lining in the jungle in Mexico and white water rafting in Colorado!
We’re so excited to announce our new addition to the team, Kelsie Wright!
Kelsie has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Kansas State University, with 3 years industry experience!
Kelsie’s favorite thing about being a designer is collaborating with team members to develop creative solutions that meet clients vision & needs!
Kelsie loves all-things arts & crafts and when she’s not working, she enjoys playing with her two pups – Charlie & Jaxson! One of Kelsie’s favorite things about Kansas City are the local breweries.

A DAY I N TH E L I F E
Most of us, if not all of us, had their lives flipped upside down over these last couplle of months.Although the unknown can be scary, it can be positive too, and a chance to create change for the good - making us all stronger. Working from home can also make for some good stories, and boy do we have some silly quarantine stories to share. “A day in the life” is a sneak peek into the culture and heartbeat of Spaces. A place where we can all get to know each other better and hopefully bring a smile to your face!
We have some new Talent to introduce!
Welcome To The Fam...
