June 19-23 Digging With Dinosaurs Travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth! Through art, music, dance, and drama, you will explore the Jurassic world. Discover fossils and prehistoric creatures and even walk the steps of a dinosaur. Please note: partial week (Mon., Wed. & Fri.) is available for half day camp at a prorated cost. Half Day Ages 3-6

Imagination ShowcaseGet lost in a world of imagination while learning about acting and exploring tales of yesterday and today.Full Day Ages 5-8

July 5 - 7Myths of Ancient Greece Go on an adventure like Percy Jackson and his friends while you ride Apollo’s chariot through music, art, dance, and drama. Journey to Mt. Olympus as Darlington creates the ancient myths and legends of Ancient Greece. Please note: this is a 3-day week and cost will be prorated.Half Day Ages 3-6

Visual Art Adventure Unleash your creativity during a weeklong exploration of visual art media, styles and artists! Projects will differ from June & August weeks. Full Day Ages 5-10

August 21 - 25Darlington On The High Seas Go under the sea with Darlington! Embark into the deep waters and use music, art, dance, and drama to create a world of underwater creatures, pirates, mermaids, and more. Dive into this exciting week of camp! Full Day: Ages 5-12 Half Day: Ages 3-12

August 28 - August 31 STEAM in the Summer

Take arts to the next level with Darlington! In this camp you will focus on the creative process through a blend of projects in the arts, sciences, and technology. 9 Month Program: September - MayAges: 5-6 Tuesday & Thursday (1 or 2 days/week) 9:00 a.m.-noon Morning kindergartners will continue their day of learning through arts-enriched activities and lessons. Through a curriculum developed by a certified teacher and arts activities with professional Teaching Artists, students will reinforce concepts taught in Kindergarten while expand-ing their creativity. Students may take the bus from Concord Elementary to Darlington to arrive for Lunch Bunch at 11:45 a.m.!

Introduce your child to learning through a special arts-integrated curriculum! Arts-based learning emphasizes creativity, imagination, exploration, and active participation. The arts add depth to fundamental concepts, reinforcing comprehension and memory. *Children must be at least 3 years old & potty-trained

PreschoolMommy & Me Music Discovery Workshop Ages: 2 - 5 with adult Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 a.m.Darlington is the perfect place to expose your little one to the arts! In a creative and nurturing environment, spend time together with other families while laying a musical foundation for your child. Together you will learn simple rhythm patterns, sing simple melodies, and explore and dance to musical stories! YouthSummer Guitar Class for Kids IAges: 7-12 Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m.In a fun and creative atmosphere, students who have little or no previous training on the guitar will be introduced to basic chords, simple melodies, reading music and tuning. This a great class for students taking the first step towards guitar training and for those who wish to continue on their musical journey. In this class, students are encouraged to enhance their creative side while develop-ing their vocal, acting and movement skills. Learn audition tips, voice techniques for traditional and contemporary styles, and how to create a character within a song. Students will build confidence singing solos in front of an audience. YouthTang Soo Do Karate Ages: 4-7 Wednesdays, 6:45-7:30 p.m.Have fun and get some exercise in this fun, high-energy class! Be introduced to the art of Tang Soo Do Karate, a martial art form with Korean, Japanese and Chinese elements. AdultsSilverSneakers® ClassicAges: Seniors Wednesdays & Fridays, 12:30-1:30 p.m.June 21-August 30 (exc. 8/16 and 8/18)Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for standing or support. This class will combine the fundamentals of both two- and three-dimensional art, plus provide our young artists opportunities to use the pottery wheel. TeensDrawing & Painting for TeensAges: Teens Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.Students will be guided individually as they experiment and express themselves with various media: acrylics, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencil and more. Students will compose images of still-lifes, portraits, landscapes, and subjects of their choice. This is a great class for students to build their portfolios for high school and college applications! In this class, students are encouraged to enhance their creative side while developing their vocal, acting and movement skills. Chester Theater Arts ProgramThe Chester Theater Arts Program brings music, dance and drama training to children living in the city of Chester. Children perform works they have created twice a year for family and friends.

Suzuki ViolinDarlington offers Suzuki violin instruction to students from low-income communities. Our programs are held at Stetser Elementary School and Chester Charter School for the Arts in the city of Chester, and Chester County Family Academy in West Chester.

Improved Literacy Through Songwriting - School Residency Darlington Teaching Artists partner with Chester County Family Academy to improve their students’ literacy and encourage their creativity. Students enjoy performing their compositions at local venues and for family and friends.

Dance & FitnessSilverSneakers® ClassicWednesdays and Fridays, 12:30-1:30 p.m.June 21-August 30 (exc. 8/16 and 8/18)Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. emerging singer-songwriter Maggie Pope in a mix of tunes rooted in traditional folk music, but also touching bluegrass and folk-rock.

that will culminate in a new album, set to be released later this year.
