I don’t seem to want to do much of anything (Ballad of Billy Joe, anyone?) but A/C can help and our Project Linus Workday, August 13, at Jean R’s promises to be almost too cool to tolerate. Jean is offering her building’s recreational room with irons, large cutting mats, an on-site kitchen and barrier-free access, so no hauling a machine on a flight of stairs. We are offering amnesty for anybody who wishes to return a kit that they haven’t found time to work on, hoping it will find a better home and, if you don’t have something on line for a Project Linus quilt, please bring 6 inch squares of lights, brights and children’s fabrics for making quilt tops. We look forward to seeing you there.
