Wiffle Dat Azz

Take a Wiff of This Take a Wiff of This vs. Holey Balls in Your

Mouth x2 Holey Balls definitely gave us a run for our money our first

game. They put up a good D and held our score. Take a Wiff fell apart in our second game against them. I think we might

have gotten too cocky and thought it was in the bag with these guys…but Holey Balls are fighters and took our number

1 spot from us! Good job Holey Balls!

Wiffle Dat Azz vs. Pilot Media Bombers What the Wiffle! Holey Balls beat Take a Wiff! That’s

awesome…way to go!

Oh yea….I’m supposed to be talking about Wiffle Dat Azz.. Yea, so we pretty much sucked balls! Thanks to Mendoza though

for getting an RBI so it wasn’t a complete washout. MVP…Gerry Malig! He was a beast all over the field!

Hmmm…must be the Crossfit! Nonetheless, what a great season. The majority of us are hooked and we can’t wait til next season. Sandlot….Wednesday nights…that’s what’s up!

Saturday Tournament Our first game we played, the team that had just beat us the

Thursday before…was I nervous?!?! Just a bit. The game started out kind of slow for us…our bats were there, but our Dwas not. They held us in the first inning to a 1-2 score, but

we came back in the innings to come.. Our game against Chicken N’ Wiffles was also a close game, 15-12. Both teams

were on point with hits and defense. In the championship game against the Loose Cannons, I was very anxious! We had a 1-1 record with them. But my players brought their A game

and were ready to rock this! We had our bats, we had our hands…we were good to go. MVP of the day goes to Brett

Craun, who rocked 6 homeruns for the day! Great job to all the teams! And awesome job to my team…ya’ll played an

awesome season, and made me a proud momma!

- Charm Reyes

Saturday Tournament Holy Homerun City by Colie and Company! We lost! And I would have to say that MVP of the game definitely went to

Colie. She is a beast, even with her boot and scooter! Great game guys!

Page 5: Summer 2011 Final Issue

Loose Cannons

Wiffler’s Mom

Loose Cannons Going into the last Thursday of the season, our team was in second place. We knew we were gonna need some help if we wanted to take over the number one spot. After we won both games of our double-header against “Roscoe’s”

and “Pilot Media”, we decided to stay and watch the 830pm matchup between “Holey Balls” and “Take a Wiff”. It was a close game throughout and in the end “Holey Balls” held on for the victory. Our team was thrilled to take the number

one seed into the tournament.

Wiffler’s Mom vs. Wiffle Dat Azz Wiffler’s Mom decided to put on her dominatrix gear this week and dole out the spankings instead of taking them.

Home runs by Aaron Simmons and Jeff Bouley.

Saturday Tournament We won the first game against Sloppy Seconds by forfeit

We played extremely well in our second game against Loose

Cannons! Our defense was tight, but we just couldn’t stop their home runs! Great job to both teams!

- Nicky Peterson

5

Saturday Tournament So, our first game of the tournament was against the eight seed, “Pilot Media Bombers”. We started off the day with hot bats, as we scored 28 runs in the

game. Next was “Wiffler’s Mom”...who gave us a good game, but we were able to put the game away with some decent hitting and good fielding. On to the

Championship game against “Take a Wiff”…the long awaited best-of-three matchup between the number one and two seeds who split in the regular

season. We had the opportunity to bat or field first and we chose to bat first, trying to put a good chunk of runs on the board in top of the first inning. The strategy seemed to backfire though, as we went three up and three down to start the game. “Take a Wiff” wasted no time getting on the board and they held a decent lead throughout the game. In the end, our bats let us down in the final game. Congrats “Take a Wiff of This”!! We will see you again in the

Fall!! - Ryan Roebuck

Holey Balls in Your Mouth

Pilot Media Bombers Pilot Media Bombers vs. Sloppy Seconds

Our last regular season games were a lot of fun! We gave it our all and stopped worrying about the game and just tried to have fun. Sloppy Seconds was fun to play again! Both teams shared some great hits and I got lucky enough to hit three

home runs in a row. Playing Loose Cannons was fun too! Those guys are big hitters! We are hoping to kick their butts in the

tournament on Saturday! Shout out go to our awesome outfielders! The had a night full of hopping over the fence to

get home run balls.

Holey Balls in Your Mouth vs. Take a Wiff of This We came into the this knowing that Take a Wiff was one of the top 2 teams of the

league. Holey Balls was becoming a better team each and every week on the offense and defense. Although we came out with a loss, it was within 5 points.

Great game by both teams.

SaturdayTournament Saturday was great! Loose Cannons hit several home runs and secured their win against us in the first round. Shout out to my

whole team for a great season, and hopefully many more!

- Ashleigh Tullar

Pilot Media Bombers vs. Loose Cannons Playing Loose Cannons was fun too! Those guys are big hitters!

We are hoping to kick their butts in the tournament on Saturday! Shout out go to our awesome outfielders! The had a

night full of hopping over the fence to get home run balls.

6

Holey Balls in Your Mouth vs. Take a Wiff of This One word: De-franchise. Or is that two. Haha. Yes, I nicknamed Take a Wiff as "Team Franchise" from the start of the season. Yes, I do admit it...this win felt good! We were the late bloomers of the league and it finally came on the last

game of season. It was also great with Loose Cannons cheering on the sidelines for us. But they were specially happy when we gave Take a Wiff the #2 spot in the

final standings. Take a Wiff couldn't stop our base hits and grounders. All in all, it was a great game by both. Charm's angry face was my personal highlight of the

game :P

Holey Balls in Your Mouth vs. Take a Wiff of This Of course we were pumped up for this game. We were coming off a great win

from Thursday night. It was do or die at this point. The game was intense. Charm's angry face appeared again! The lead switched back and forth. They couldn't stop our grounders, slap chops, and speed. One Take a Wiff player said, "You play a lot better than your record. We shouldn't be playing you guys first". It came down to

the 2 homeruns which gave them 3-4 runs. It was a great game played by both teams!

Page 7: Summer 2011 Final Issue

Roscoe’s Chicken N’ Wiffles

Sloppy Seconds

Sloppy Seconds vs. Pilot Media Bombers This game had all the excitement I could handle. The score got of hand with Sloppy Scoring in every inning. But our hands go out to Ashleigh "The True Bomber" Tullar. She hit 3 Homers during the game.....everyone was very impressed with her

forhand swing. I don't think that her wiffleball has landed yet. The Bombers are a great team and fun to play and we look

forward to battling you guys again.

Roscoe's Chicken n'Wiffles vs. Sloppy Seconds Since we went 3 up, 3 down most of the game, we never manufactured a run. There were a few nasty catches in left field by both teams. Sloppy was able to

score in the 3rd inning to give them the lead.

Roscoe's Chicken n'Wiffles vs Wiffle Dat Azz So we knew we were going to be short players for the tourney but not quite as short as we ended up. With only 7 1/2 players, we were able to work through

our batting line-up quickly with homeruns coming from Mike Mars with 2, Jamie Hopkins with 1 and Kim Evans Krinsky with her FIRST homerun! All in all

a really fun game played against some really good friends.

Roscoe's Chicken n'Wiffles vs Take a Wiff of This We jumped ahead in the top of the 1st with 1 run. I glanced over and saw Charm shaking in her Nike's. We then scored 4 more in the 2nd inning off Amber's FIRST homerun of the season. Take a Wiff was battling back and forth with us the entire game. In the 3rd inning Mike hit his 3rd homerun of the day which went along with Kim's SECOND homerun of the season (both hers coming tourney time). In the last inning, Mike hit his 4th homerun of the day (Homerun King of our team with at least a dozen on the season) but we were unable to make-up the run differential and Take a Wiff pulled it out winning by 4 runs. Although, Roscoe's

was able to make-up for it at the bar with a win against Take a Wiff at flip cup. Big ups to Mike Mars, who not only was our Homerun King but also the Inaugural Season Homerun Derby Champion along with Ashleigh Tullar from The Pilot Media

Bombers!!!

7

Sloppy Seconds vs. Roscoe’s Chicken N’ Wiffles We had a little mis communication with a girl on our team

subbing out so that another girl could play, so we ended up taking a forfeit. No big deal. If the game would of counted we

had a 2 point lead on Roscoe's Chicken n'Wiffles. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the field again.

- Jon Reyes

TEAM MOST LIKELY TO PASS OUT AT THE BAR

WIFFLER’S MOM – Now this team can drank!

Always equipped with “adult beverages” at the fields and you can always find members from this team at

the bar AND at the flip cup tables!

TEAM WITH THE BIG HITTERS TAKE A WIFF OF THIS/LOOSE CANNONS – Stacked with The Clippers baseball team, of course Take a Wiff of This can mash! Also in this is, Loose

Cannons. Every game we’ve played, Ryan was hitting them over the fence, and not to mention Courtney’s

game winning homerun against Sloppy Seconds!

TEAM WITH THE MOST SPIRIT PILOT MEDIA BOMBERS – This team has

impressed me with their always happy-go-lucky attitudes. Their spirit and fun nature makes them a

fun team to play against!

MOST ATHLETIC TEAM TAKE A WIFF OF THIS – Again…stacked with

baseball players. They have to stay athletic. Not to mention the other players who wake up at 5 am to go for a run every morning (Kristy Perron), who are All-American lacrosse players (Lisa Castellano), and who

play softball, kickball, volleyball, and dodge ball throughout the week.

MOST FUN TEAM WIFFLE DAT AZZ – This team is ALWAYS at the bar and ALWAYS roll real deep! Maybe it’s because they were winning the Double Pitcher all the time! I need not forget, this team also consistently closes out the

bar!

TEAM MOST LIKELY TO STILL BE PLAYING AT 50

LOOSE CANNONS – Ya’ll might not have known this, but wiffle ball in Hampton Roads originated from

this team. They have been playing for many years, I can definitely see this team playing for years to come!

FRIENDLIEST TEAM PILOT MEDIA BOMBERS – Most teams would

not be as friendly if they took as many losses as these guys, but they kept their heads up and did not let that

affect their attitudes towards others. I should take notes from the Pilot team!

TEAM MOST LIKELY TO TAKE A FORFEIT TO LACK OF PLAYERS

HOLEY BALLS IN YOUR MOUTH – Most every game, James Salgado struggled to get his players to the fields. Some would show up just in the knick of

time, some just wouldn’t show up at all. Better get on dat azz, James!

TEAM MOST LIKELY TO PULL OUT THE RULEBOOK

WIFFLER’S MOM – As Stella Solorzano mentioned

in a previous write up, Nicky Peterson can get a little cray cray when competition is involved.

TEAM THAT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH ROSCOE’S CHICKEN N’ WIFFLES – With Eddie

Mac with his crazy cheers, dance moves, and the “Eddie Face”, Jamie Hopkins and his stupid humor, Rene Vargas with his weird obsession with putting

girls hair on his head, and Amanda Mason who is the girl version of Eddie Mac on the team…how could they

not make you laugh!

TEAM WITH EGOS SLOPPY SECONDS – Well…they have a bat ONLY

for their team, with bright pink grip tape on it. Jon Reyes will take your soul if you try to take this bat.

Not only did Jon get them a “team bat”, but Jon Reyes also tells our parents that he has a better team than

mine (keep dreaming, bro!) We also have “Angry Ronnie” on this team, who will go off on anyone and everyone…same for Rebecca Wipf…gotta love them!

The Dirt

A Bet is a Bet So Ashley Carte from Wiffle Dat Azz and Craig Engfer challenged each

other to a flip off. If Ashley won, they Craig would have had to motorboat Red’s azz; however, if Craig won he got to motorboat

Ashley’s Azz. I must say it, it would have been a lot more entertaining if Craig actually had to motorboat a dudes butt, but that’s not how

things worked out. Ashley was a little too slow on the flip and she had to offer up her biggest asset to Craig’s face. But there was a

mysterious wet spot on Ashley’s bottom after the “motorboat”….wonder where this came from. But I’m sure you can tell just by looking at the pictures! Craig you dirty boy, you! Put that

tongue away!

Who Gets Ejected in Wiffle Ball? If anyone were to get ejected from a game, it would definitely be

Courtney Thatcher! Known to many as the girl who talks more smack than Terrell Owens! She got ejected from the Championship game

against Take a Wiff of This for telling the Ref that he couldn’t count, and that he probably needs a clicker! Way to go girl…first person to

EVER get ejected from a Wiffle Ball game!

Red Molesting the Championship Belt Round and Round it goes, where it stops no one knows! These Loose Cannon guys really do like to use their tongues, don’t they?!?! Caught

in the act, Red from Loose Cannons is spinning the Backyard Sports Club logo on the belt while Kim Bronk from Holey Balls had it around

her tatas! Seriously…ya’ll need to get a room! Red, make sure you have Kim do her sea turtle sex noises for ya!

9

Craig wins the bet!

The Aftermath

Devil in disguise!

We Seeee You! Ya’ll can’t even go to the woods…or the bathrooms? They were

unlocked you know! Sheeesh!

JR…is that you back there?

Thought you could be sneaky, huh?

Might wanna try a little more to the

right!

You too Will Buker! Caught ya!

Hopefully we won’t see too

much of this next season, boys!

Home Run Derby and Flip Cup Champions

Home Run Derby Champs Awesome job to both Ashleigh Tullar (Pilot Media

Bombers) and Mike Mars (Chicken N’ Wiffles.) They did an amazing job! Although, I do have to

add…Ashleigh killed it! She pretty much had more home runs then ALL the guys combined! If this girl

ever becomes a Free Agent…I got dibs on her!

Flip Cup Champs Props to Jon Reyes for winning the Flip Cup

Championship belt! Jon took this home all by his lonesome. His teammates were a no show to Uno, so he had to represent Sloppy Seconds by himself. He took on teams of 4! This could only mean 1 of 2 things….ONE, he’s an alcoholic that has really good

flipping skills or TWO he practices at home everyday….he does have a regulation flip cup table at

home…hmmmmmm!
