WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Battalion Level Instruction, Training, and Briefing Maintain and employ a Martial Arts and Water Survival training plan at a battalion level, averaging 97% trained. Trained and evaluated over 200 military members in counter IED operations metal detecting and marking. Held Chief Instructor of Water Survival for Cherry Point, NC Combat Pool for 18 months with zero safety or
training mishaps. Totaling over 3000 military members trained. Familiar and proficient with professional military instruction, and briefing methods as well as practical
application and evaluation of course content.
Team and Project Planning and Management Managed incoming and outgoing logistical assets for U.S. Homeland Security project in El Centro, CA. Managing
over 200 vehicles and material loads, maintenance, and coordination between agencies and workers on the job site.
Developed and maintained a team run training program resulting in a 97% training complete status for a Battalion of over 1,000 Marines.
Lead the first East coast training team assisting in implementing a new training standard for a force wide change in Water Survival Program. Resulting in additional changes and troubleshooting of standard before being ran mainstream throughout the force.
Communication and Networking Maintain open communication between employees and executive level supervisors in matters of various
importance on a regular basis. Communicated with upper level officials during pre-mission approval meetings in Arizona, Texas, and California.
Compiling notes and briefing executive supervisors in Homeland Security and Border Patrol, resulting in approval of critical infrastructure improvements along the U.S. Mexico border.
Coordinated with local, state and federal officials during Hurricane Sandy Crisis in New York City to assist emergency and utility personnel with military assets under my direction. Leading a team of 30+ workers and 15 pieces of equipment over three weeks without any injury, moving over 500k pounds of debris having great effect on the community assigned to us.
