During two days of the show, the EXPO XXI in Warsaw was a place, where retail chains representatives had business meetings with ex-hibitors and suppliers for the retail industry. They had the opportuni-ty to see new products, trends and services related to the equipment and store design and also to participate in inspiring conferences and practical workshops. More than two hundred companies presented complex offer for retail chains, including: shop fittings, cash registers, scales, security and protection systems, IT systems for retail chain management, e-commerce solutions, loyalty systems, outsourcing, financial and consulting services. RetailShow is the biggest retail event in Poland and East-Central Europe.

The fair attracted nearly 5000 guests, among others there were board members, developmental directors in retail chains, owners and managers of independent trading points, administrators and tenants of shopping centers, suppliers of equipment, technology and services for retail chains and independent stores, manufacturers and suppliers of FMCG and other professionals interested in the retail industry. The Retail Congress conference and the workshops in the Retail Innovations Theatre attracted industry specialists who got to know the latest trends in the store design of various formats and the principles of product communication.

the PeRfect StoRe 2017The Perfect Store attracted everyone’s attenion and the crowd of visitors made the companies that presented their furniture, equipment and technologies very satisfied. For guests it was a special occasion on which they could not only observe world trends, but also check and compare a wide spectrum of displayed solutions. The Perfect Store has total area of 228 sq. m. and is available for all visitors of the RetailShow free of charge.

the Retail congReSS 2017The conference was attended by the management of retail chains and shop owners. Specialists from Poland and abroad presented trends in the design of stores of various formats, talked about ways to create a positive customer shopping experience and discussed the omnichannel in practice. The conference was divided into three the-matic sessions: “Shop Concept”, “Innovations” and “Management”.

the Retail innovationS theatRe 2017During the two days of the fair, inspirational workshops in the field of de-sign and arrangement of stores took place, lectures on the latest e-com-merce solutions as well as presentations of franchise systems. The pro-gram also included presentations of innovative products and solutions for trade.

tRade innovation awaRdS 2017In this contest were awarded the best products in the retail in-dustry. In the “IT systems and technologies” category the prizes were given to D&K for its MainBOX and to Zebra Technologies for its mobile PC TC20. Both Tablet Senor TPOS and Computer POS SENOR V5E from Datecs-Polska were awarded in the category “Printers, Scanners, Collectors, POS”, as well as the counter scan-ner with scale MP7000 from Zebra Technologies and a portable data terminal CIPHERLAB RS31 from Koncept-L . In the category of “Project and internal store furnishing” the refrigerated count-er CARINA 07 from ES System K was awarded and confectionery counter Sonata from MAWI. Cashterminal iPos Duet from iPOS SA was awarded a prize in the category “Cash registers and scales”. In the “E-commerce & mobile” category a parcel terminal Fresh-box from Modern-Expo was awarded. And last but not least, in the “Loyalty programs” category the POLOmarket’s POLOKARTA was awarded a prize.

BeSt ShoP concePt 2017In the 4th edition of this contest the Jury awarded stores that stood out due to their design, used technologies and usabili-ty values. In the category “Remodeling” the prize was given to “Medicine Everyday Therapy” store. In the category “Supermar-ket” the “Piotr i Paweł” store was awarded. The cafe „Corona, Sok & Mus” was awarded in the category „Convenience store. In the „Specialist store” category the showroom „Tikkurila” and the bakery-patisserie „Nakielny Kawa i Wypieki” were awarded. And in the category „Clothing store” BYTOM and E-obuwie won the prizes.
