Summary
During the 18th century, people and employees were actively involved in
primary sector rather than the manufacturing sector. They were less
dependent on machines. But the past and the present has a totally different
scenario. People are now involved in the industrial revolution. The most
important features of industrial revolution is, the organizations is not only
local, its also gloal. !henever the gloal mar"et is changing, the
organization reacts to the change. #ence, coping up with gloalization is an
important factor if the firm wants to survive in the industry. $hanges and
implications in todays organization are all for it and surrounding it. To loo"
at electric commerce and for every little or ig firm, competitive demandwith new technology and continuous personal improvement will play the
most crucial role in development.
Bureaucracy is a system of administration in an organization which helps
them coping to changes in the living surrounding. Bureaucracy is an improvement
over the feudal system but it is also criticized as an iron cage. %or a starting, productivity
of employees it the most important part of it. Perfection is productivity
through division of laor, implies a high level of specialization in anorganization. To enefit the administration or administered or the
management and wor"ers, hierarchy of authority is a must. These
hierarchies have its out uni&ue way of controlling its su ordinates and they
ma"e the rules and regulation in an organization. ' system of rules helps to
smooth the operation in an organization. (mpersonality orientation helps the
officials in an organization deal with other officials in the same line of
hierarchy of the organization.
#owever, motivating different people on the same level can lead to a
declining in the organizations productivity level. )ven more, a predefined
rules and regulation can lead to a further decline of production ecause it
de*motivates independent employees. 'dministration prolems due to the

ehavior of managers can also lead to a loss for the organization in terms of
productivity. #ence, it is important for the organization to e fle+ile with
minimum rules and regulations and different motivating system for different
people.
To ensure that organization productivity ta"es place in a changing
environment, organization development -D is created. -rganization
development is aout the change in eliefs, values and entire structure of
the organization and the new organizations consist of control, rigidity and
predictions. (ts also important to monitor the progress, result and
performance. There are several alternative forms of -D such as organization
culture which tal"s aout /how things are done here0, organizational climate
referred to the strength of feelings or elongingness, ased on the level of
morale, care and goodwill of the memers of the organization and
)mployees commitment which may influence the wor" performance level.
%or an organization to develop itself, it is very important that it is capale to
adapt to the changes that e+ist in todays economy. (ts also important that
the organization is capale of identifying its appropriate sta"eholders. There
are three stages in which we can map or analyze the sta"eholder
1. (dentify sta"eholders.
2. 3ecord their position interest regarding the pro4ect.
5. $ompile an action plan for how est to influence them.
6ta"eholders are the most crucial part in the development of anorganization. 'nalyzing sta"eholders ehavior involves an investigation of
past and future sta"eholder actions that could enhance or hinder corporate
goals. . 7anagers should manage the environment for instances of interests,
eliefs, or o4ectives etween sta"eholder groups and then they should
e+amine group sta"es according to economic, technological, social, political,

and managerial effects. They should e accurately understood and they
should e always clear aout their position and roles.
The more we wor" with and involve the sta"eholders, the more chances we
will get to oserve y them. Before we go for implementing the sta"eholders
into their actions, the manager should chec" and review their views and
interests. They should e than"ed after the o4ectives are fulfilled and they
should realize that they are the important person in the development
process of the organization
