Working as a Unit Manager- Operations in INOX, Siliguri (from 01st April’2011 to till date)

INOX multiplex, a joint venture of Inox Leisure Ltd and Tirupati Plaza Pvt.Ltd.,a multiplex with 4 auditoriums with the capacity of 1041 seats.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Regional Director, Director and General Manager-Operations. Supervises the functions of department employees, facilities, operations and cost on daily basis. Monitors and controls-

- Quality levels of product and service- Customer satisfaction- Merchandising and marketing- Operating costs and maximizing sales.- Safety and security of customers, employees and building.- Q Management.-SOP’s been followed.

Prepares monthly reports, forecast report, departmental budgets. Responsible for unit marketing plan-promotion and block booking. Responsible to project INOX as a successful brand to all external customers. Responsible for HR –recruitment process, sanction leave request, appraisal process, HR manual

etc. Supervise housekeeping functions in the lobby area, rest rooms, auditoriums and

administrative offices etc. Supervises and coordinates in liaison with the Corporate General Manager, operational

decisions and such factors as :-Local recruitment-Market needs-Competition-Trends-Potential costs-Merchandising & branding-Promotion

Previous Experience & Responsibilities:

1. Worked with Disha Institute of Management & Technology, Raipur (With the capacity of 2600student and 1000 staff), Raipur as an Asst Manager- Food &Beverage from 18th Jun’09 to 28th March’2011.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall food and beverage operation of boys hostel (200 student), girl’s hostel (180 student),Cafeteria, Restaurant, kitchen hygiene, purchase of grocery and perishable items, maintaining register, maintenance, staff recruitment, staff duty roaster, vendor selection, preparing profit and loss statement, menu designing, budgeting, food cost, daily sales and expenditure report, guest house operation, etc

4. Worked with Jain Group of Institution, Bangalore and posted in Jain International School, Bilaspur(Residential and Day Boarding school, with the capacity of 800 students and 78 staff) as a Food and Beverage Manager from 06th Oct’07 to 15th Jun’09.

Sole responsibility of the entire Food and Beverage operation i.e. Marble Arch (Multi CuisinRestaurant), Dynasty (Oriental Specialty), Bar-be-Que. Restaurant, Room Service, Banquets . Opening new Indian restaurants, Banquet Hall, Food outlets and determining service standards, helping F&B manager in day to day operation.

5. Completed HOMT training from Jehan Numa Palace Hotel, Grand Heritage, Bhopal. During HOMT training worked in Multi-cuisine restaurant, Specialty cuisine restaurant (Mediterranean cuisine), banque,room service After training, worked for this same property as a senior captain for 8 months Service from 17th Jan’05 to 27th March’07.
