Home Page• This will bring you to the Student Home Page Banner, which allows you to

navigate to your eEditions. Simply click on the banner found on myNGconnect.com to open your eEdition.

• You can return to the Home Page at any time by clicking on the Home button. Please do not click on the back button located in your browser. It will log you out of myNGconnect.

Student eEdition• Click on the book you would like to open.

• Once you open the book, you can Choose a Book or click on the Table of Contents and search for a word or phrase.

• you can navigate from page to page by clicking on the black arrows at the top of each page. Or you can type the page number into the box to go directly to that page.

• To the right of the Digital Library you can find image files for all the World Cultures and Geography's maps and graphs.

• Beneath the Home Page Banner, you will find the Student Tools. Click on each one to access the resource you need.

Home Page• Click the Resource you would like to open. Use the scroll bar to navigate through the

list of resources located on the myNGconnect.com platform.

• There are multiple ways to navigate to the same resource within myNGconnect.com

• Use the drop-down menu located in the upper right-hand corner of the Home Page to go to any of the resources listed. Below is an example of what that will look like.

Student eEdition Navigation • Once you click on your Student or Teacher eEdition, click on the unit thumbnail of your

choice to open that unit.

• Once you open the Unit you selected you can navigate from page to page by clicking on the arrows to the right of each page.

• To navigate to another Unit, click on the icon and that will open the Table of Contents. To expand or collapse resources within each Unit or Chapter, click on the yellow arrows. To return to the page you were just on, simply click the TOC icon again.

• Click the play button to play a video. To hear the text read aloud, click on the microphone icon.

• Click on the button to activate the Modified Text feature. The same content is presented in text that is one to two years below grade level.

Navigation Tips • The National Geographic black banner across the top of the home page provides

teacher and district information along with additional ways to navigate.

• The Help menu at the top right-hand corner of the page can be accessed by clicking on the question mark Here you can find detailed manuals on navigating through myNGconnect.

• Navigate to any of the Resources by clicking on the Backpack icon shown in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
