Involvement

Why join a Student Organization? Participation in student organizations encourages students to interact and develop leadership skills among their peers. Organization meetings and discussions involve brainstorming and creating innovative events and activities to increase knowledge and expand leadership development. Can I add participation in a Student Organization to my resume? Yes! Student organizations should be included on your resume, since this experience shows your teamwork and leadership skills. How much time is involved? Student organizations usually meet once or twice a month. Is there a cost? Most student organizations do not charge a participation fee. There may be charges for certain special events or field trips. Which Student Organization is best for me? You should select a student organization based on your general interests, academic major, and personal development to help enhance your educational experience at Rutgers School of Business–Camden. How do I join an Organization? Participation in student organizations varies slightly by the nature of the organization. Some organizations require a minimum GPA, but most will admit all students who are interested in participating. Organization requirements are found in this booklet.
