It should identify areas of risk of slips, trips and falls
There are two types of falls that may occur: Falls on Same Level A Fall from a High Level. This program will deal mainly with falls of the same level. Falls from elevated levels be discussed but their prevention requires specialized training and protection.
Types of falls
Types of fallsFalls on Same Level:
• They occur more frequently• Mainly caused by slips and trips• Less severe than falls from elevated levels• The lesions typically include back injuries, broken bones, sprains and strains.
Falls from High Level:
• They occur less frequently• Result in more severe injuries• Some causes include falls from ladders, buildings, platforms, vehicles and other structures.• serious injury and even death may occur.
