CurriculumThe 15-credit curriculum consists of fivecourses: one course in analysis, three instructural design, and one elective. Oneengineering-related graduate-level course(3.0 cr.) taken at another accreditedinstitution may be considered toward thecertificate. A “B” average (3.0) must bemaintained in order to receive thecertificate. Courses in which a grade of “D”is received will not count toward certificaterequirements.

Participants who successfully complete thecertificate program courses and then enrollin a graduate program may be eligible totransfer credits to that program (forexample, the Master of Engineering inEngineering Science offered at Penn StateHarrisburg) subject to the approval and therequirements of the specific program.
