WHEREAS, Kelly L. Hartman, Keith L. Sooy, and Roberta A. McNeil recently terminated their employment as teachers in the District; and

WHEREAS, state law prohibits a teacher from terminating his/her employment after the tenth day of July of any school year or during the school year without the consent of the Board of Education; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Education does not consent to the termination of Kelly L. Hartman,

Keith L. Sooy, and Roberta A. McNeil's employment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education directs the

Superintendent to file a complaint with the State Board of Education requesting the teaching certificate/license of Kelly L. Hartman, Keith L. Sooy, and Roberta A. McNeil be suspended for up to one year in accordance with state law.

Resolution 00-11-32 * 8. Parental Leave Be it resolved upon the recommendation of the Superintendent that the following certificated parental leaves be approved: Linda Cohn, in accordance with the Negotiated Agreement, upon the birth of the baby to approximately March 2001.

Mr. Brian Griswold donated a gross of pencils and pens and a set of computer mouse pads to Muraski Elementary School.

Mrs. Sylvia Capretta donated three first grade software programs and a first grade book to Muraski Elementary School. Muraski PTA is purchasing a computer for Muraski Elementary computer lab.

Mr. Thomas Doherty, Charter One Bank, donated $100 to support Red Ribbon Week at Center Middle School.
