Director of the Neuropsychology Division Cognitive Rehabilitation Program. Am certified to provide cognitive rehabilitation services and to train and supervise cognitive rehabilitation therapists. Developed the Ecological Oriented Neurorehabilitation Program which currently is the basis for cognitive remedial services provided by the Neuropsychology Division. Created and Previously Directed the Cognitive Rehabilitation Program in the Emory University Hospital Rehabilitation Day Program. These services continue to be provided by the Rehabilitation Therapy Department (primarily by Speech Therapists) and were the forerunners of the Ecologically Oriented Neurorehabilitation Program.

Created and Directed the Emory Day Program Vocational Services Demonstration Project. Work trial sites were developed across the Emory University campus. Patients judged to have good vocational potential were placed in sites matching their pre-injury work environment as closely as possible. Therapists accompanied patients to these work sites and served as job coaches to develop strategies that would allow patients to eventually transition back into gainful employment. This demonstration project led directly to the current Center for Rehabilitation Medicine Vocational Services program.

Created the Neuropsychology Consultation Service for the Emory Epilepsy Center. This service conducted Intracarotid Amobarbital Examinations for the Emory Epilepsy Center and did pre-surgery language mapping of temporal lobectomy candidates for the Emory Clinic Neurosurgery Department. Developed a standardized Intracarotid Amobarbital Examination for Emory and the Emory Cortical Language Mapping Protocol.

Directed the Neuropsychological Training Program. During the time I directed the program, Emory became a leading local site for practicum training in neuropsychology. We expanded to include a neuropsychology post-doctoral training track affiliated with the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology and a neuropsychology internship training track accredited by the American Psychological Association.
