PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project is on Lower Buckeye Road, from 27th Avenue to 19th Avenue,
Includes roadway pavement improvements, sub grade preparation, aggregate base, concrete curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk improvements
Located on the north side of the road, concrete driveways, various removals and miscellaneous items.
Improvement for the Traffic signals at 27th Avenue and 22nd Avenue
Upgrade the current street lighting.
Review existing drainage and address potential issues.
Along Lower Buckeye Road, there are a number of railroad spurs that will need coordination.
Spurs may be considered for potential removal.

The scope of work will include design engineering
services for:
• Pavement reconstruction
• Including geotechnical report and pavement
recommendation
• Various utility adjustments
• Miscellaneous removals
• Other ancillary items
SCOPE OF WORK
The selected consultant will be responsible for:• The design of sidewalk and curb ramp
improvements to meet ADA requirements, primarily on the north side of the road.
Additionally, the consultant team will be required:• Assist the City of Phoenix in coordinating
improvements with the existing BNSF railroad spurs.
SCOPE OF WORK
• A drainage memorandum will be prepared by the selected team identifying existing drainage issues and recommended alternatives.
• Design Services shall also include the design of traffic signals at 27th Avenue and 22nd Avenue. Coordination with current projects will be needed.
• Street lighting improvements to meet current lighting standards.

• The consultant will be required to provide public outreach during the design phase of the project.

Cover letter, front and back covers, Table of Contents and tab dividers will NOT be counted towards the maximum page limit, UNLESS they include information that may be considered by the selection panel.
