1 Overview

This Demo shows the placing of sales orders in an IS Mills system. The firstscenario shows the entry of the customer material number. This is automaticallycross-referenced using an info record to steel manufacturer part number. Thesecond scenario shows the entry of a generic material and some productcharacteristics. The system then performs product matching to propose suitablematerials. The third scenario shows the entry of a generic material and someproduct characteristics. No product matching is performed, but the characteristicsare passed through to the production order.
