Stolle Concord Decorator and Basecoater
The Stolle Concord Decorator and Basecoater are the industry leaders in high quality decoration of two-piece cans. Both machines feature a simple, robust design for reliable, low cost operation, reduced maintenance and rapid can size changeover. They are available in several configurations to meet most can decorating needs, including 24 and 36-mandrel models. Concords feature Stolle’s innovative Rotary Trip mandrel system that increases production speeds up to 2200 CPM* while improving printing/coating quality. The unique single trip mandrel design reduces spoilage by allowing only the defective can to be ejected, without interrupting production. All Concord components are easily accessible for faster setup and maintenance, and auto lube systems are available to further reduce maintenance time.

Concord 8-Color Decorator• 8 removable ink stations with 5-point water cooling• Inkjector® automated fountains with servo-controlled keys and label memory are an available option on ink stations• Pneumatic ductor with label memory push-button color control • Closed loop vector drives or belt-driven ink stations are available• Running registration and plate cylinder pressure adjustment with optional digital readout• Accurate overvarnish system with vector drive, optional temperature and viscosity control system• Heat exchanger for oil cooling system with circulating lubricant
Concord Basecoater• Dual coating heads for even coating application with minimal overlap and slinging• Highly accurate coating weights and superior can finish• Coating units have separate enclosures (24 & 36 mandrel) and are removable and interchangeable (36 MRT)• Individually adjustable speed for each coating head • Closed loop vector drives for applicator and gravure rollers• Variable frequency coating supply pump• Optional coating temperature and viscosity control system
