The members, officer and directors of Stockton Trap and Skeet Club welcome you to the 2016 U.S. Open Skeet Championships.
There are many facilities at the club to make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable event. One of these facilities is The Bocci Club. The Bocci Club has a sit down restaurant with a full bar. Stockton Trap & Skeet has a large shaded park that overlooks many of the fields. Many shooters enjoy relaxing under the shade trees and just hanging out during the shoot. All practice rounds will be at current member prices throughout the shoot. Ammunition will be available in the clubhouse and will be sold at current member prices during the shoot (for events and practice only).
Hors d’oeuvre will be provided each evening. Lunch will be available for purchase either in the Bocci Club or from a vendor on club grounds. Of course McDonalds, Wendy’s, Subway and Carl’s Jr. (etc.) are some of the many local fast food chains within minutes of the club. There are also sit down restaurants close by. A list will be provided to you of all local restaurants at registration.
We have 25 RV spots; 6 with 50 amp; 4 with 30 amp and the balance are 20 amp service. We will also have overflow space available to park self-contained RV units. Camping is available in the park but reservations are required. Contact: Jamie Horton at [email protected] to make your reservation. Please provide the length and type of RV you have. We have arranged for a sanitation service if requested.
There are many local wineries to visit within 30 minutes of the Club. Jackson Rancheria Casino is close by – about a 50 minute drive. We are approximately a 2 hour drive to San Francisco. We have put together a small package with all the attractions and information for you to pick up at registration.

REGISTRATION Registration at the club will begin Wednesday from Noon to 6:00 pm, and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7:00am. SHOOTER CLASSIFICATION NSSA rules will be followed. It is the SHOOTERS sole responsibility to ensure that their classifications are accurate during registration. Each shooter will receive a printout of their classes and events entered when registration is completed. Changes or errors MUST be brought to the attention of the shoot management at the time of registration. Any improperly classed shooter forfeits all awards and money winnings for that event(s). HOA/HAA classification cannot be lower than the shooters lowest gun classification. REFUNDS AND EVENT ENTRIES Deposits will not be refunded after Aug 1, 2016. No refunds of any event entry fees will be made once the event has started. “No Show – No Notification” will forfeit all event money. Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. SHOOTING TIMES Each squad is limited to 1 hour and 10 minutes for Doubles and 1 hour and 30 minutes for the main. All squads are to report to their assigned fields at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled event time. Start early if possible. No event will be shot out of rotation; no shooter will be allowed to shoot back-to back times. AWARDS AND PAYOUTS Winnings will be paid by check within two weeks after the shoot. SHOOT INFORMATION Practice fields and ammo will be available at the club. NSSA rules apply to this shoot. Stockton Trap & Skeet reserves the right to modify this program without recourse or protest. Notices of any changes will be posted. The shoot scoreboard is for shooter information only. Official scores and winners will be maintained on the shoot computer. A Protest Committee will be appointed and NSSA protest rules apply. Participants and spectators recognize the exposure to potential injury associated with shotgun sports and assume all risks of accidents while attending this tournament. A referee/maintenance fee of $4.00 a shooter per event will be charged at registration. Ear and eye protection is mandatory for all shooters. SHOOT-OFF POLICY HOA Champion ONLY will be shot off using one regular round of singles with the 410, by total score followed by regular doubles at 3, 4, & 5 miss and out by station. All shoot-offs will be doubles at stations 3, 4, & 5, miss and out by station. Concurrent events will be shot-off concurrently whenever possible. Team events will be shot-off separately. Shoot-offs will be announced with no less than a five-minute call. Any shooter missing his or her shoot-off is considered a “No-Show” and forfeits any winnings. DIRECTIONS From Sacramento: Take I-5 South toward Sacramento/Yuba City (go 56.0 mi), take the CA-4 East exit toward downtown Stockton (go 3.7 mi), take the CA-99 North exit left toward Sacramento (go 2 mi), take the Waterloo Road West exit (go 2.5 mi), and turn left onto North Ashley Lane. From San Francisco: Take US-101 South/San Jose, Merge onto CA-92 East/Hayward, Merge onto I-880 North/Oakland, Merge onto I-238 South toward I-580/Castro Valley/Stockton, I-205 South becomes I-580 East, Take I-205 East/Tracy/Stockton and merge onto I-5 North, take the exit Downtown Stockton/Fresno Avenue and merge onto CA-4 East toward Downtown Stockton, merge onto CA-99 north via the exit on the left toward Sacramento, take the CA-88/Waterloo Road East
