applying 3 g STOCKOSORB per liter of soil.

# The rapid rewetting of soils and potting mixes after

periods of droughts ensures and accelerates the

continuous growth of the plants.


# Incorporated in soil at a depth of 20 cm one

kilogram of STOCKOSORB absorbs 130 liter of soil

solution.

Reduction in erosion & surface run-off means to keep the topsoil. Topsoil

affords the best root environment by providing the best structure, the most air,

organic matter and plant nutrients.


# After 40 days without irrigation the sandy soil

contains 1 liter of water whereas in the soil treated

with STOCKOSORB 1 liter of water was measured

after 80 days.

The soil moisture potential is kept for a longer period

of time at the highest level resulting in less drought

stress for the plants. Irrigation frequency can be

reduced by 50%

# In-depth eco toxicological testing was performed

in laboratories certified according to the rules of

„Good Laboratory Practice GLP“. No evidence for

adverse effects of STOCKOSORB to animals,

plants, soil or ground water was obtained.

STOCKOSORB IS ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE STOCKOSORB IS BIO DEGRADABLE

# In soil mechanisms are available which lead to

degradation and con-version of STOCKOSORB

resulting in the integration into the carbon cycle

without any negative or toxic effects on the soil and

microorganisms. Degradation products are not toxic.

Static and dynamic systems are simulated to learn

about decomposition.


Trial Design

On new plantations STOCKOSORB were applied mixed with the fertilizer at the bottom of the

furrow, then the cane stick were planted and covered with soil.

In already planted areas the mixture of STOCKOSORB and fertilizers was Incoporated into the

soil as close as possible to the plants in the root zone.
