STREOTYPECONVENTIONS

COUNTERTYPE APPEARANCE BEHAVIOUR

All lesbians are tom boys (Jasmine Hollyoaks soap)

Appearance: - Short hair- Butch - Boy clothes- Scruffy

Behaviour: - Sporty- Act like boys - Aggressive

Jessie J a glamorous young lady (Singer)

The appearance of Jessie J is a countertype of lesbians all being tom boys. This is because she is a very girly girl with he wearing dresses, long hair, high heels and having loads of accessories on. Also a stereotypical lesbian usually does not wear make up where as Jessie J is covered in makeup.

The behaviour of Jessie J is that sheslively and happy (Dancing from video) Also that she doesn’t care about what she looks like (Outfit changes)
